Newcastle are stunned by the sudden change of heart after Remy said he wouldn't even talk to QPR. Even the BBC are hinting at this, though they do have a long standing opinion on Rosie and 'Arry

Well his agent will get a nice fat pay off money talks and twitcher has got a record of doing this all through his management career

A hoinest to goodness no lose situation for the player & agent.

They get London instead of Newcastle, the signing bonus & agent fees now, write in a relegation release clause (and probably a survival bonus), then either get paid again or can go to someone like Newcastle in the summer if they don't stay up. (and get another signing bonus & agents fees)

If they do stay up then it'd be fair to say that Harry will be doing a good job and will build on the survival a lot better than Mark Hughes.

Think the constant rumours about him every window for the past few years that have put him in all the papers for so long have really hyped him up.
Newcastle clearly the better option but QPR is where the money is so it's no surprise he's chosen there. And even if there is a relegation get-out clause in his contract, who's to say they won't be in another relegation dogfight next year if they stay up, and the year after, and so on? Is that really the kind of club he wants to be at, especially when there's one with realistic Top 6 ambitions also in for him that he could choose to go to? Stupid choice IMO.

Got himself Remy and M'Vila for £15 million total.

I like the way Redknapp gets business done, he see's a player he wants and he gets them, even if means stepping on other clubs toes to do it

London and 500k after tax more. Also he's got some release clause in his contract if they'll be relegated.

I bet Newcastle paid all his expenses to fly here too, then Cockerney wideboy swoops in with his fat chops dog, flat cap and brown envelope

This is a great move. Say what you want about Harry Redknapp but he would succeed at a club where he could wield transfer power without budget issues. He talks to players, makes them feel important.

I dont see the attraction with London. It always seems twice as hard to do anything there to the point where its almost meaningless to say "I live in London" you have to specify which quarter of it you live in cos thats where you'll be spending 90% of your free time... and no one quarter of London offers more than Manchester, compact little paradise that it is.

According to reports Loic Remy chose QPR after meeting with harry - he definately has the gift of making players see his way.

Seems to have worked with Remy and possibly according to rumour if Yann M'Vila also signs. It would go down as a great bit of business for QPR

Yes 'the gift of making players see his way'
