Gutted we conceded so late. The boys had their backs to the wall, and defended for their lives. Wasn't expecting us to get anything out of the game, so a draw is better than a loss, even though after all their efforts it still hurts.

I refuse to celebrate a draw. Who is responsible for the signings in the last 2-3 years? These players cant keep possesion or press like they should. Might aswell let Pep go if anti-football is the way forward for this team, Pep is not that coach. Can´t watch this that kind of football going forward and it didn´t even get the 3 points after all. Never thoguht il see us playing like this ,when Pep is still around.

Fuck me, is it reasonable to think that when you play a top team like Arsenal you can set up a slightly different way? The team was magnificent today and I’m not gonna criticize them at all. I was so nervous watching that and I haven’t felt like that in a long time. I felt like a real football fan again!

Hahaha. Inevitably, they want to cling on to the dominated possession aspect of the game, we very deliberately played that way. We wasn't trying to dominate the game, we didn't compete to control the game. We had a very clear plan which involved not having the ball and it was one fuck up from the keeper away from working to perfection.

It's one of those isn't it? 1-1 at the Emirates, given the recent form of both sides, is a good result however you slice it. But when you've watched us dig in for that fucking long and then they just squeeze one in right at the death like that, it's fucking gutting. Pep looked crestfallen at the end, I really felt for him. That could've been a real moment and it still has the potential to be the start of something much better for us, but it's galling to not be getting the three points.

As someone else has said in this thread, it's only a good performance playing like that if you don't concede.

In my opinion we showed more fight than we have in ages, but our overall play was really poor. Just booting it back to them, struggling to string two passes together.

Just my opinion though, if you think we played well that's fine

If we would have played a high line we would have lost. Especially after khuso went out at half time.. I for am like that pep realized this from last season or even after spurs and Brighton that our defense is to slow for a highline.. not the prettiest game plan but a point at the emirates is a heck of a result imo. I don’t think they really had chance till the goal.

First of all, it's impossible to question the application of the players

Question- with the way we clearly set out to play, is this a dign that Pep knows for whatever reason that we aren't ready to play the way he wants. Or is it him deliberately shifting his style of play? Is he waiting to get players fully fit, new players in or something else?

It's strange to think that Pep will abandon his way of playing that he has had all of his coaching career...it just seems so anti Pep

Is this a temporary solution or a permanent shift?
