I think we should have left somebody on up front to hit them on the break. We were doing OK until he took Doku off.

Wouldn’t disagree, but Doku had covered every blade of grass, and had been getting kicked all over the pitch the whole afternoon, so was probably being held together by gaffer tape by that point.

Atwell was an absolute disgrace. He gave them everything and us nothing, but the most obvious was just before they scored. Calafiori committed yet another late tackle and Atwell went to give it, but then decided to allow Arsenal to break from which they scored. Needs calling out.

This is the issue as we never do and nothing changes. We make it so easy for officials to give themselves the easy option, ie don’t give anything to us, as they know it won’t be called out.

I know they’ve scored at the end but our defence is looking much more solid.
We usually start the season slowly so it’s positive for the things to come as players settle and get used to playing a different way.
We’re looking more like a team again.

Loved the attitude and performance today. We needed to change things up and I have to admit I didn't think Pep would do it, nor did I think we had that kind of performance in us. Gutted we couldn't see it through but I'm really positive after that performance.

Oh please watch again game if you want but I just can not be happy with this peformans, but sure before game a point is not bad but we were leading.And desicions that Pep and stuff made cost us 2 point.
First eleven is very good but when subs came on everyone could see that our level droped.
Ake is not good any more for this level.
And Stones is to much injury prone.

We are not team that play parked bus for almost all game.

Why do you feel down, City played very well against Arsenal and the match officials and got something from the game

Why not? They literally did not have any good chances for 80+ minutes? And they have one of the best attacking teams in the league…

As someone else has said in this thread, it's only a good performance playing like that if you don't concede.

In my opinion we showed more fight than we have in ages, but our overall play was really poor. Just booting it back to them, struggling to string two passes together.

Just my opinion though, if you think we played well that's fine

Another shite performance, couldn’t keep the ball at all.

Why hold a high line so late on and then Donnarumma doing his Ederson impression stood in no man’s land inviting an easy lob.

Pissing away the win shows how we’ll be nowhere near in the title race. Liverpool have it boxed off already. Grim.

A very good defensive performance only spoilt by a lapse in concentration.
Watch their goal back and watch Savinho, not one bit of determination to go and close down the first ball.
I know the defence switched off too but he could have definitely put them under a bit of pressure to close the ball down.
No way we would have dropped those points if we’d had the same rest as Arsenal.
Boys worked tremendously hard and I, for one, am proud of their efforts today.

Funny thing is we were slating them for playing like this against us when we got the late equaliser.

Despite the result I am not that angry. I think we played well and pragmatic given how the tarquins play. Also, have to take into account the same team played the last 3 games at a high intensity so they will be tired. I have enjoyed watching city the past few games which for a while I haven't, as I thought we'd gone boring to watch.

Because he’s played 3 times in a week and was shot. Gave his all, ask no more.

Reijnders was the one who needed to come off, really surprised he played a full game as he looked wrecked by 60. probably his best game for us since his debut.

All played well especially the fullbacks.

Donnarumma positioning poor on the goal.

Haaland’s gonna have a season.

If we'd have held out it would have looked brilliant, I definitely think not leaving a proper forward on cost us, especially with how Gonzalez, Reijnders and Savinho cocked that up by not heading to the corner

The thing with Haaland staying on isn't just that he was our outlet going forward but he was also winning balls from their corners. He should not of taken Doku off as well.
