Was that a Pep team looking solid backs to wall ? Pep reinventing himself late in his career ? Bodes well for rest of season if we can soak up pressure when we need to. Big moment in game when Haaland burst clear and should have squared it to Foden for a tap in - we needed that 2nd cos Arsenal were always likely to score. As someone else has said in this thread, it's only a good performance playing like that if you don't concede.

In my opinion we showed more fight than we have in ages, but our overall play was really poor. Just booting it back to them, struggling to string two passes together.

Just my opinion though, if you think we played well that's fine

I agree with you, for me that's how struggling teams play. We have enough up front to beat them and we should have left a couple up front to hit them on the break instead of trying to hang on. Had we scored with 9 minutes to go then yes, but not from 9 minutes in.

Taking Haaland and Doku off gave us no out ball and put us under even more pressure. Happy with the point but fuck me 4 more minutes to hold on just 4 minutes

Good to see us battle and graft . Need more craft on the ball . Doku excellent. Savinho jogged and put no pressure on the ball in the lead up to the goal , considering he’d just come on is criminal.

A late equaliser is annoying but the sooner some people realise that this is not the treble winning team but one that is being rebuilt the better.

The players are not machines and we showed real grit and drew against “title challengers”

Spurs at home and Arsenal away, out of the way and players coming back to some winnable games.

Would have taken a draw before the game but feels like a defeat with it being on 92mins.

Defended well but why did the entire team decide to abandon everything we’d been doing all half and push up the pitch? That was all 11 of them at fault there, they all pushed up too high.

Very disappointing result in the end.

However, we are doing much better with results on the same fixtures from last season…

On the face of it the result looks good, but it's the manner that makes it feel like a defeat.

Got to beat Liverpool at home in a month or so.

Didn't think we get anything today so will take it. Our goal was brilliant play and Doku was unplayable. But why did we play that stupid offside trap again. Pretty sure it's already cost us this season at least a couple of times. Just deal with it.
