Arsenal didn't even try to win the game. Their quality was nonexistent. They know they are inferior to City and just wanted to lose closely. They have made this top 6 thing redundant. Cancelo put more pressure on Ederson than Arsenal did with one sliced pass

I don’t think it’s lack of effort from these sides. They just aren’t good enough to lay a glove on us. I actually thought Everton played quite well against us midweek but it just wasn’t anywhere near enough. I think we go on the pitch now and expect to win.
