Arsenal (A) Post Match thread

The only thing to remember right now is that this week we gained 6 points in two away games both of which could have been banana skins for us.

I said a week ago if we are ten points clear by the end of today we will win the league. I thought the win at Everton was a league winning result. 3 points today is icing on the cake.

Oh, and by the way, another defensive masterclass by Fern, Stones and Dias and yet another clean sheet.

Phew. Nervy game but we effectively controlled the 2nd half, should have added a second though...
Saw the best & worse of Cancelo there in that 2nd half, Pep needs to rein him in for a bit, all the praise is clearly going to his head...ludicrous "backpass" to Ederson, dreadful clearance near the end straight back to Arsenal, and going for the YouTube showreel finish when right through.
Back four superb again, especially Stones...great strength at times.
Started off on fire & game should have been over after 20 minutes.
Ground out that win without Gundo, Bernado and KDB being at their best.
We've beaten Liverpool, Spurs and now Arsenal, 9 points from that incredibly tricky run.....magnificent!
 
Happy with the win and performance, defensively we had Arsenal in our back pocket the entire game, Ederson must get bored shitless.

Stones MOTM, happy to see Gundogan & De Bruyne back and a good warm up game for the Champions League mid week where I expect we'll face something similar
 
Controlled that game for most of it. Cancelo really should've made that more comfortable at the end. Although not at our devastating best, still looking so strong.

the way we set the wall when we had to defend was master class from pep and his boys.

It reminded me of mancini team when city went player down and he literally changed the shape like U shaped in a second .

Neville had said it was good to see Cancelo checking if Holding was OK, and Tyler just made a snide comment about it being more about him being worried as he was on a yellow card, even though it was him that got cleaned out by Holding.

Tyler is a disgrace.
