I live a couple of miles from the Emirates Stadium and while it's snowed off and on frequently over the past couple of days, there's very little to show for it on the roads and pavements. Just a light dusting in peoples gardens. It's cold, but there's no ice underfoot and all the streets have been well gritted for once. No chance the game will be called off unless it gets significantly worse. The forecast just looks like more of the same, so i'd be pretty surprised if it doesn't go ahead.
I'm not sure why anyone doesn't want to play Arsenal as soon as possible. On paper this is our hardest game left this season but after Sunday, i can't imagine any better time to face them. Players and fans alike will be dreading playing us again so soon. That Arsenal team don't have the character to put up a real fight on Thursday. If we play the way we've done for most of the season we'll turn them over again no problem.
