I don't think Gundogan will be ready for this so no point risking him when we have a number of optionsand I reckon Foden will be rested, KDB will start and Mahrez will retain his place
Pretty much set up as we did vs Liverpool
When we're in possession, a back two of the centre halves, then Cancelo and Zink push up alongside Rodri to give a bank of three and an extra two bodies in the midfield
Mahrez and Sterling to stretch Arsenal and pin their full backs in

.........................Ederson
Cancelo......Stones..........Dias.......Zinchenko
.........................Rodri
......Bernardo.......................KDB
Mahrez............Jesus................Sterling
Really can't see us not getting a result with this side.

For the more discerning amongst us, here’s Bernard’s beautifully crafted preview of the Arse vs City game on Sunday.
It takes it’s time and guides you through a veritable smorgasbord of facts, fun & thoughts.
You’d better have an appetite to take it on though, because Bernard’s fine offering, compared to other glitzier previews, is like a 4 course carvery lunch in a top class family restaurant compared to a McDonald’s - wholesome, taken at a leisurely pace and absolutely totally satisfying :-)

Tuck in!

Bernard is great craic! Like and subscribe!

.......................................................... I understand why you'd want to play the best team game after game but its not wise to do that as you'll burn players out
That last sentence is probably one of the reasons contributing to Liverpool's problems this season. Klopp played the same team in virtually every game (except the domestic cups which do not seem to figure in his big picture)

We don't want to run Bernie to the ground, we need the whole squad fresh for the long season ahead of us

Granted, but - With Kev being the one who'd take his place - Pressuming Gundogan isn't fully fit to start - personally, I wouldn't want to change the 2 of the midfield 3 in one game.

If Gundogan is fit - then maybe, but I'd rather Bernardo's pressing game against Arsenal than Kev just returning to full fitness.

Personal preference of course, can see both sides, think Bernie deserves a rest but with him playing so well ands so many important games coming up it's hard for me to imagine resting him right now.

I think Mahrez should keep his place and Phil rested. Foden has been the main culprit for unnecessarily giving the ball away in the last two matches, so I’ll put it down to tiredness.

Sterling..................................Mahrez
....................De Bruyne....................

........Gundogan............Bernardo.........
......................Rodri........................

Zinchenko.....Dias......Stones......Cancelo

.....................Ederson......................

Bench:
Steffen
Walker
Laporte
Fernandinho
Foden
Jesus
Aguero

On the ball:

Sterling...........De Bruyne...........Mahrez
............Gundogan........Bernardo

...............Rodri........Cancelo..............

Zinchenko...........Dias................Stones

.....................Ederson......................
People have been crying out for years to make Phil Foden a regular starter in the team. He makes a couple of "mistakes" and now people want him rested.
You couldn't make this sh1t up!

I don't think anyone wants him rested but it may be a necessity, lets not forget the amount of football in those young legs and developing body recently.
