Liking the optimism in the last few posts, can’t say I share it though! Would be very surprised if we won there, but we live in hope. Don’t think Khusanov will start personally, feels like too big a gamble.

Ederson

Nunes
Stones
Akanji
Gvardiol

Kovacic
Bernardo

Foden
Marmoush
Savio

Haaland

I most certainly have hope.

That's because, in my extremely humble opinion, that front four represents the most dangerous in world football.

win win game

if we win, smashing - we're back in business and probably looking at a runners up finish and with our renewed confidence the possibility of going deep in the cup competitions

if they win good luck to em in catching the dippers and we can hopefully do them a favour soon by taking points off those overrated candle toting slimeballs

that said i'd be happy with a draw to maintain our unbeaten league run and annoy their rubbish fans

When we were debating the likely team for the Arsenal game and I mentioned our new signing Usmanov, my son speculated that possibly the old fella’s addled brain was somehow combining his name with his country of origin

Not happening. We started playing Nunes at RB and it has worked better than with Rico there. I would personally play Akanji at RB, but Pep will continue playing Nunes there. He has no reason not to, especially against the likes of Arsenal.
Who's on their left side ??

Has to be that side but Pep will probably find a way how to shoehorn Gundo in

Been waiting for this one for a while. Can't stand their entitled players, cone boy manager and deluded fanbase

Virtually all pundits and media are writing us off in this and are predicting a Tarquin win even though both clubs league form in the last 6 games is exactly the same(won 4 drew 2)

Yes we still look shaky at times but we've definitely improved over the last few weeks and Arsenal aren't exactly pulling up trees.

I think we are going to surprise a lot of people. Fuck it. I'm going for a 4-1 win a Haaland hat trick and Marmoush scoring

That would be my team too, assuming Stonesy can cope with playing. We have a good rest after this game before the Real/Bayern match so no excuses to not give it a good go. Second string will play against Orient in FA Cup.

We can give this lot problems.
Win and we end there title hopes but probably ensure it goes to the dippers if they get the business done against Bournemouth.

Tricky game. Really hard to call but I think it's all going to be decided by how the ref interprets the laws for me.

If he allows Haaland to be in a battle with all the goon defenders, trying to throw him to the floor at every moment, he's got to allow the same physicality back and not allow them to manipulate him with their "fall-over" fouls at tactical moments. Sick of that shit.

Nunes brain-fart and we're 1-0 down inside 20mins is my fear.

We've got enough to do them all over the park with our added reinforcements, much more capable of being solid at the back and we actually look dangerous again in attack; but equally they're not where they are in the table by accident and the same could be said about them.

Hoping for a fairly reffed game, I'd prefer a full on school-master and kids approach, but we all have our interpretations and preferences, just so long as it's as equally applied as possible.

Leave talking about the moments of great skill and I'll be able to take whatever result comes;
if we're left talking about some ref's interpretations of arsey-gonna-arsey-so-we-just-gave-em-this-match-try-not-to-cry-too-hard, then I'm (surprisingly:) not going to be best pleased.

midfield battle will decide it. we cannot have all Kova, Gundo, Bernardo, KDB starting this.
