Seems a weird line up but sure Pep knows what he is doing, they will miss Partey and I think player for player we are better, if we don’t switch off and give them a soft goal or two like at Spuds
 
My take on it for what it's worth is that for a large part of the season we have been playing with 4 at the back and one of the full backs pushing into midfield to add to the numbers. We did this with Walker, Cancelo and Lewis. So we have basically been playing with a back 3 for a long time.

The big difference is that it appears Pep has gone thought rather than pushing a defender into midfield just start with an additional midfielder and make us tougher to play through.

I have no problem with it, truth be told I am quite interested to see how it pans put.

It's a poor line up full stop.

I suppose the so called decent ones are on champions league duty tonight.

It's the same line-up as the last game I think, the only exception is that Ake is playing now which I'm not sure was a good idea, because Laporte is a better player in my opinion.
 
Never underestimate us because we are good enough to beat anybody, pep and city coaches know what we can do to hurt teams, even when we look like a so-called weakened team in defence all of them would be first team players are any other club,

win, lose or draw, yes stand tall behind our great club
