Whether Partey is out or not shouldn’t matter to us. We need to somehow marry the defensive solidity against Arsenal in the cup with the incisive and press beating passes against Villa.

Whether Partey plays won’t stop Odegaard, Martinelli and Saka being real threats. Besides I’m old enough to remember being excited by an FA Cup 6th round match at home to Spurs because Barmby was out. Nayim played instead and scored a hat trick.
