Would you fear us the way we are playing in the league at the moment?
Ask most football fans to name City's world class players (current not past), and you'd get Kompany, Silva, and Aguero. They were all out, now half are back.

Tonight is about getting out of there with a point or even all 3. It's still a case of ticking over for me until the big guns are back. I'm expecting City to be very resilient and difficult to beat tonight. It's a game Arsenal need to win more than us because we are going to improve as our players return.

Have a good feeling about tonight

*reserves right to change opinion once team is announced*

I think Arsenal are suffering nearly as much as us with injuries at the moment. Looks almost their whole midfield could be missing in Wilshire, Carzorla, Arteta, Sanchez, Coqueilan, Rosicky. Hopefully we can take advantage of that and dominate the game in the middle.

They have had more injuries than us, but ours have been to the players that made City stand out. They have one truly World Class player in Sanchez, but admittedly they played brilliantly at Olympiakos without him. Looking forward to what should be a key game of the season, although it might not be a great game.

Arsenal have got a couple of decent players missing as well, so they're going to improve when there back.
Weve got to match them for commitment and effort to night or better, if we start with this dont give a fuck attitude there's only one winner and it's not us.
Having said that i think we'll stick to our game plan and come out on top 0-2

I think its one of those games where i don't care if its pretty i just don't want us to lose the game. Without Silva and Kun we haven't blown teams away like we have done over the past few years and tonight so for me it needs to be about matching them and wanting it more. We do that and stay solid and compact and hit them on the break, then i can see us winning it.

Why is there so much negativity? We've better players all over the pitch. I'm not worried at all about tonight. As long as we're set up with cover that properly protects the back four, I think we'll be fine.

It's a must not lose. Losing (potentially) 5 games before you're half way through the season just wouldn't be acceptable. A draw would be a good result.

Hoping MP goes for 3 in midfield, Delph's energy is a must. I fear for the worst if it's Yaya + Ferna, Ozil will have a field day.

Hoping the team is :

Hart
Sagna
Otamendi
Mangala
Kolarov

Fernandinho
Yaya
Delph

Silva
KdB/Raheem
Aguero

whys that karen arsenal will only play with a midfield 2 of flamini and ramsey and we are likley to have yaya and diniho up against them i know which 2 id rather have there
Because it will be down to dhino alone to shield the back line as yaya doesn't do it,it's a mistake mp keeps making

Why not play with 3 and over run them like most other teams are so successful at doing against us.

Flamini and Ramsey. For the reason Karen7 says.

Give me Delph, Fern and Yaya. Or even Fern and Delph.

We haven't scored in our last 4 away games, and our defence is v poor at the moment. We were cut open by both Stoke and Liverpool, and Swansea had great opportunities too.

Arsenal have some great players going forward - to suggest it's strange that there is negativity is head in the sand stuff, or just arrogance?

This will be a really tough game. Who knows what city turn up - if we play as we know we can, then hopefully we win. But we haven't played well for a while now.
