Still unsure whether Pellegrini will take a pragmatic approach, and play a midfield three of Fernandinho, Toure and Delph, or whether he'll stick to his attacking principles and go for it. I suspect it might be the latter.

I don't think them 3 suit a midfield 3 as they are all like for like I'd prefer 1 to come out for fernando and have a proper holder in the team! As I've said in my posts before I'd go out attacking get on the front foot we don't want to be inviting ozil on to us to play through ball through to chamberlin giroud and Walcott.

Away from home we don't have the ball so much, and without the ball Toure offers nothing. He should not be playing in away games like this.

I agree - Id play midfield 3 of fernandinho, Delph and Silva with Sterling KDB and Aguero in front of them. Gives Silva license to move about freely.

I'd be amazed if pellers leaves yaya out

If by any chance we should lose tonight — not that I'm suggesting it's a foregone conclusion, far from it — could there please not be the huge negative reaction that there so often is here, afterwards? Would such a thing be possible?
In the worst case scenario, we would be four points behind Arsenal, with not even quite half of the season played. And with them to come to the Etihad for their final away game. And with our world class players to come back, and with something that we virtually haven't seen this season to take place — a team including Vinny, Sergio, Merlin, KDB, Sterling, and Yaya, all playing together. Let's keep some perspective on this. Same if we win. Yeah, it'll be a good feeling. But the season still has a long way to roll…

It all depends on the nature of the performance. If we play well and lose i can cope with that. Its when we play like we did against Stoke, Spurs, Villa etc that gets me. If we play like that tonight again it could well be another bad defeat for us and there will be the usual analysis / abuse of our performance.

I just hope tonight we put a performance in tonight and get a result. I despise Arsenal and more particularly their fans, bunch of arrogant up their arses cunts.

Next 3 away games, Arsenal, Leicester and Watford. If we come out of the mix 3 points off the top I'll be happy.

I can only remember winning once at Arsenal in the last 20 odd years, it's like Klanfield I feel like we'll only ever get a point at best!

We used to think that about Everton. And Sunderland. As it says so philosophically in Terminator 2, "the future is not written". And football is a funny old game.
