I was getting the days mixed up, thought it was the first day on sale

The 3000 were not available online when sales opened. approximately 1100 or so were online. I think sales are slow, i would expect this goes to 15000 points or less...around 600 left now.

New Year’s Day I guess. Plus a load of games leading up to it too. Not a cheap time of year.

Hoping they do make it to citizen card holders though.

As well as the hangover and early kick off/travel issue for NYD, maybe some are - like myself - going to Brentford on the 29th and have to stop over which, in my case at least, made the Arsenal trip so soon after too expensive.
