Which game were you watching if you think I'm making up the chances I described in the very post you replied to? Should Sterling have scored 2 and Silva at least hit the target from that range? Yes is your answer. Not saying we played well but facts are facts.

Not as many clear cut chances as we normally create but we still should be scoring those. Even scoring 1 out of those 3, levels the score and changes the game.

fully agre- still not taken to Mahrez - he has wonderful skill but he just doesnt have the drive at times goes missing far too often - think he has been an average buy myself though some others seem to rate him

Anyway chin up blues. Time to rebuild and go again. We all knew losing kompany and factoring in players like Silva and Sergio and fern getting older. The spine of a great team gone.We might need to be patient while we try and find the new players to take us into the next 10 years. Getting the Recruitment right will get us back on top quick. Too many times the ball lands to one of our forwards and they screw it up. Doesn’t matter if it’s Aguero, Jesus, or Sterling, they scorn far too many chances. Until we find someone who is lethally clinical, we will continue to find ourselves in such positions.

Totally agree with this. We need a top quality finisher. Arsenal have one and that’s why they’re through.

As soon as they scored the first it was obvious what was gonna happen.

We have too many players who love to get in on the act when everything's going well, but nobody who can grab the game by the scruff of the neck when we're up against it. Apart from maybe Sergio. We got to the stage under Pellegrini where we could still smash the shit teams on our day, but when the opposition had a plan we had no answer to it. That's basically how this season has been.

Sorry lads but no fucking way are we winning the CL.

Worst we've played under Pep since we git thumped by Everton in Pep's first season.
Gungodan has to go. Marhez is questionable and Silva can't play three games on the spin (but we knew that - Pep cleatly didn't).
Much better in the second half but lobbing crosses into midgets is never going to work. Knocking balls down the channels when the opposition push up is more likely to get a goal.

We score so many 5-0s and 4-0s that it makes our attack seem more reliable than it really is. Up top is a problem, just as the midfield and defence is!
