can we just think on a bit, arsenal are a class club with a class manager, we've done fuck all yet so lets show some respect.

This.

We used to be everyone's 2nd favorite team. Admired for our decent, honest support through thick and thin, and for having to endure years of shite abuse from next door.

We have to accept that many people will start to hate us because of their jealousy of our new found money.

But let's not have them hate us because we are cunts. We are above that and should show some humility and dignity. Telling Arsenal they are our feeder club is cheap and crap comment imho.
When I was at uni from 2000-2003 I knew lads from all over the country and every single one of them hated City. Villa Leeds Spurs Arsenal Rags Liverpool Forest Barnsley Oldham Bardford... knew lads who supported all these clubs and none of them liked us one bit. They used to say how impressive we were for our crowds in 1998-99 but they hated us!

lmfao they're livid...none of their points when slagging us off were valid either...can't wait til Samir bangs in a hattrick at the graveyard this year!

I'd be very surprised if they weren't to be honest.

I'd be absolutely furious as well. To have one of their top players fuck off, and he can't use the excuse of the fact he wants to go to a competitive club as they are a top 4 team as club. He's going for, in their opinion more money, and that's just eating away at them.

Arsenal have proven themselves as a top club, we haven't yet, Wenger is a top manager, Mancini still has to convince a few people. Nasri in my opinion has shown a massive amount of disrespect to a club who has done nothing but make him into the player he is today. That doesn't sit with me.

He came for money, to be honest, we can all admit that now, but he's hear, and that's one up for us.
Great that we have him, not sure where we are going to play him, but Arsenal fans are rightly livid. Imagine of the shoe was on the other foot.

They are a trophyless team for how long ?

I know how long we waited for but this is what players are leaving Arsenal for, money does come into it but if you watched the video of his interview in the boot room, he looks over his shoulder and see's 3 shirts, Nasri, Kun and I think it was Tevez on the back of them, his eyes just lit up with pure joy like a kiddie in dream land.

So you are saying keep stum whilst they rip the shit out of us.

Give and take I say.

Unless you are on the wind up

Anyway I like their fear because thats what it is

let them rip us on an internet site, we'll rip them on the field of play, only if we play at top notch mind.

Players aren't exactly coming to us because of 1 FA Cup.
Arsenal always challenged. He has a realistic chance of winning with Arsenal as he does with City. It was money, and I think we should be able to admit that. Fair game when you have it, it's what any other team would do if they were in our position. The pot is black, might as well call it that.
Most of our players, regardless of what some people might to think, are here for the money.
Arsenal fans are calling him greedy, and he is, but who turns down a job that offers more money?

My only problem is the lack of respect he is showing them. Doesn't fit well with me. Fabregas left in a classy way.
You get paid that amount of money, he should have handled it differently.

Money is what controls the game, if Everton had the money we did, or Stoke, players would be on their way there now instead of us.
People say it's different with Arsenal, with the Rags, etc because they earned it. And in some ways they did.
We got lucky, as simple as that. So what.
But it's fair game. If we weren't spending it, some other club would be, and we'd be the ones on the high horse.

And I resent other teams criticizing us for doing so, when they would be doing the same given the chance.

Thanks I bloody knew it wasnt Tevez but I couldnt be bothered to go and look lol

@Ellspark

You missed my main point about Nasri himself, rather than focus on what we had won, he was like a small child with his hand in the cookie jar, unless he is a dam good actor, he genuinely looked over joyed just to be at City, I appreciate what you are saying about the money and I have no doubt for a lot of our signings this was the main reason, I think our owners dream for this great club as been well and truly sold to Nasri, maybe Big Pat has been on the phone all summer, chirping at him to come here and win trophies

Wouldn't you be annoyed if a clutching mercenary (for that's what 90% of players are) left us and proclaimed us to be shit fans.

Can't we confine the abuse to rags.

I agree .................... I remember when Keith Curle went to Wolves .. "I moving to a bigger and better club" was the quote ......... City fans didn't take too kindly to that comment ......... But after he hung his playing boots up he tried to put the record straight saying that "5 years at City was the highlight of his career" ............. players will say whatever to please the current fans of the team they have just signed for.

Ooh Curly Wurly!! Ooh Curly Wurly!!!

fuck off, hes not come for the just the money. we turned a corner last season, we've won more than arsenal have in the last 6 years and we will win more in the next six years.

as for the cockney wanna be's. fuck em. adebayor, clichy, nasri, kolo. they would kill for them now, we've got them (we dont want 1 maybe 2 off them) they havent.

and what thick **** would have a tattoo where its covered and he cant see it .......bell end!!!

What is this fucking obsession that people have with 'class' ?
Is it an obsession or is in an inclusive term that portrays the point they're trying to get across. Quit being so anal and get over it.

This really is quite an enduring myth.

I don't think anyone is hitting back at the club or the manager, it's the bitter, pathetic fans and after what they have said about OUR club, they deserve fuck all respect.

I hated curle after he said that and when i read the paper today i cringed at what nasri said but its a sign of the times these players are here for the dough. were attracting mecenaries who dont give a fuck about their last club or there current club, I think thats why i'll always have the goat down as my nunber 1 player, not just because of the way he was on the pitch but off it as well.

Lets not act like them big headed, arrogant red twats who we've all despised for years, were better than that.
