I was deeply offended by that chant, I really think MCFC should make official representation to Arsenal and demand an apology... at the least.

I would like to think we as supporters would not stoop that low, this was personal,direct and very very fresh in the memory.

Not sure there's a lot Arsenal as a club can do about it. Every club has it's share of pondlife following them, us included. Some of our lot see to delight in singing about a certain event back in the 'fifties, and I'm sure the club are as embarrassed about it as the majority of fans are. It is sickening when you hear about this sort of thing going on. I agree that an apology would be nice, but I won't hold my breath waiting for it.

Calling Arsenal fans racist? I was in the Arsenal end that day & there were no racist chants or bananas. I remember walking out of City with my shirt on & about 5 mug city fans coming right up into my face & laughing at me. I bet they aren't laughing today. Oh & the guy who came right up to me shook my hand & said " at least you've got Niklas Bendtner"... HAHAHAHA what are you thinking today son?

Totally agree with all your points. However as was said on the other post on this subject it was not just a few it was at least (my guess) 75% of them. Also this is much more recent and affected an individual on a very personal level which makes it more difficult to accept.

That said you are correct it would be pointless waiting for or expecting an apology.... up until now I had no particular axe to grind with the Arsenal fans.
