Arsenal Fans Today

Wankers as they were, to be fair to them at least they sold out their allocation and sang all game.

It's about time there was a full away end as it rarely happens these days.

They can sing what they want, doesn't bother me. We should be loud enough to drown them out and we fucking weren't.
True statement, I thought they were good today and give their team great backing, we on the other hand were shite to say we were at home.
Only Everton and Spurs brought over 2800 last season (apart from United and Liverpool in the cups). I'm much happier when there's a full away end and they're singing all game. It adds to the occasion. It's just a pity we don't add to the occasion in 90% of our home games. The South Stand were outdone by the North Stand today.

I'm getting this deja vu feeling of the usual suspects criticizing City's home support once again.

No it wasn't the best ever, but there were plenty of songs, plenty of singning, and plenty of banter between both sets of fans throughout the match.

What has happened in the South Stand exactly, it's mostly the same people so why has the noise halved? The 'Kippax' area is usually good, even today most of the noise came from there (I'm right next to 109).

Vile, loathsome fans. But our fans were not in good voice at all today and only gave it back after we scored really. It seems like the news of the scum cheating their way YET AGAIN to a win deflated the fans a bit.

Just got back from the game via a couple of boozers, I thought when both sets of fans started singing about Gary Neville that was class. On the City front we are just not firing on all cylinders to many changes to the team in my opinion.

So; you thought it a good idea to register, so you can have a pop at City fans. Not that you lot are obsessed with us, of course. Didn't cover yourselves in glory at Anfield today, did you?
I'm not an Arsenal fan buddy, i got linked this from a United fan of mine and thought i'd chip in with a few thoughts of mine, considering this is a forum and all...
Never said you were an Arsenal fan. Read my post again, ''buddy''.
I'm not a United fan either which makes you slagging me off for misreading something when you make random assumptions a bit rich. Didn't think it would be this hostile on here.

I.

Not having a pop at the SS, but they seem to have given up this season.

1500 standing fans should make more of an effort and more noise.

The Arsenal support is a bit of a strange hybrid, but they were alright today. Not amazing, but not bad either. Anyone who was offended by them probably shouldn't go to a football game ever again.

Our support was noticeably flat today.

Arsenal were the first to challenge the north in the 20s and 30s.

You mean when you cheated to stay in the league, the bought the manager and much of the first team of Huddersfield, who were the most successful club of the time, so that you might win a pot or two?

Well, I for one am impressed. Well done on being far better than us in that respect.

I never said we got to the top in a more ''honourable'' way than you. Most successful clubs get there that way.

I was pointing out why northerners dislike Arsenal and Spurs fans. You never get northerners whining about Palace or QPR fans, even though the people who follow them are likely to be very similar to those at AFC or the yids.

My apologies. Sometimes you hear an argument that often that everything is a nail when you have a hammer

Sorry, misread it, i'm a BWFC fan not a rag. Didn't think it'd be this hostile on here.
If, repeat IF, you are a Bolton fan, my apologies. However, with a username like that, I remain dubious.
