So only City and 3 other teams will have to play twice in the first week.

Also Villa v Sheff Utd same day then all teams would have played same number of games, following weekend will then be a full list of prem games.

The dippers first 2 games will be at home against bottom of the table fodder so they can acquire the points to be named champions and then cease the season starting again in August.

Who’s bothered

I'm really not. Only managed about 2 minutes of Bayern v Dortmund before I turned it off, just wasn't interested.

I've got a feeling these games are going to feel like the random preseason tour games at 11 am where we play in a mostly empty stadium against some semi-pro side.
