Arsenal (H) - FA Cup | Post Match Thread

Welcome to our world.

Edit: Oops. Already done, sorry. But you have to get used to that. The big question is how you respond to it from now until the end of the season. Does Arteta and do the players have what it takes to keep calm and trust themselves? Not so sure.
I like Arteta, But he has yet to show me he can make subs and tactical adjustments to change the course of a match when plan A isn’t working. The team I don’t think was expecting the level of intensity and desperation of the other side and tactically couldn’t change to a plan B. To be honest it was an immature loss, a more blooded title winning side would know what they are in for and not get rattled.

Like Arteta but he hasn’t shown me he can go to plan B and i also think he doesn’t sub and rotate as aggressively as other managers would in certain situations

The Everton press yesterday was brilliant. Really picked their trigger moments perfectly and didn’t go gung-ho with it like Spurs did.

Hopefully shown the rest of the league the blueprint to beat/challenge Arsenal because I’m not so sure Arteta has it in his locker - or in his squad - to change a gameplan.

Yes I honestly think Premier officials kind of let struggling teams kick the crap out of more technical and gifted sides on the road. And certainly you guys would be the biggest victim of that. I don’t know if they feel somehow that it is more sporting and fair to let them mess you up a bit on the road. So you guys would be the biggest victim of that kind of thing on the road. But trust me, although we can’t compare to your guys dominance in anyway we been getting that treatment non stop for awhile to; but i am sure that is pretty much every weak teams tactics against you guys.

Personally, I don’t care how much more talented the other side is, I don’t enjoy points that are won in that manner. And a mire experienced team and manager should of been able to adjust and eventually break through, we got rattled; can’t deny it
I think we'll both agree that the officiating(especially this season) is negligible to say the least. After today's game at Spurs, there's more of a chance we'll be talking about a shite decision rather than a piece of magic on the pitch.

That's fair. Questions over his temperament as well. We will see.

It is crazy richest league in the world to have the best managers, best players, and to just accept this level of just head scratching and inconsistent officiating. But again credit to Everton they fought harder and had a plan. Still, there needs to be reform. Why have Var if you are then going to ignore the tape because you have come to a subjective decision that the error was not obvious or clear enough. Then what the hell is the replay for to anger the fans when you ignore the correct call 2 times?
