I told you cunts in the pre match they’d come and have a proper go. There was absolutely no way they were going to come and camp on the edge of their box and play for a 0-0.

The usual loons jumped in and showed again they don’t understand the game.
 
Fantastic performance, full of fight (the right kind) and very pleased to have won in a way that also helped to show up arsenal for what get are this season - cheats and bullies..

Means nothing though if we don't now beat Burnley. But what an immense performance.

I'll save my mind about the officials this week for the referee thread, but my word we did it without much help from him!

How do you get harder fixtures than Southampton? They couldn't beat them, only just beat Mansfield in the previous round, only just beat Everton with 90th+ minute goals, lost at home to Bournemouth, lost a 2 goal lead at Wolves, only scraped through by the odd goal in 2 legs v Sporting, struggled against Brighton and against Chelsea, who played with 10 men for over an hour. On current form they might not win any of their last 5, let alone all of them, bearing in mind they still have two tough ties against Atletico.

Oh, and haven't beaten us in 3 matches now this season. We're favourites because we're the better team.

We also hit the post twice and Haaland and Doku missed very presentable chances. According to the highlights on Sky it was all Arsenal and basically City had 2 efforts and nothing else ............yes Arsenal did have decent chances but so did City

To those in the Match Day Thread calling Donnarumma a "shit keeper" and demanding we get rid of him - genuinely staggering.

This is a goalkeeper who has been outstanding for us. One mistake doesn't erase that, and the speed at which some people forget it says everything about them, not him.

Being a supporter means backing the players when it's hard, not just when it's easy. Gigi KNEW he made a mistake - he doesn't need the so-called fans piling on. What he needs is to feel the fans have his back, instead of thrusting a knife in it.

Thankfully his teammates understood that, just as they did with Khusanov and Trafford when they needed it. Shame some on here don't.

Semenyo also came in for some pelters - you do remember how underwhelming David Silva was in his first season. Give the guy a chance!

If your support is conditional on perfection and no-one is allowed to make a mistake, it isn't really support at all.

Complete revisionist history. VVD was a **** on steroids. And whatever you think about Arse fans, they have never bricked our bus (not once but twice) or injured little girls by throwing pots of money. And not murdered any other fans for that matter. Let's not rose tint the bucket of shit that the scousers were and are just cos we are nostalgic about the past
