Semenyo was bloody awful in the first half. I posted that at half time, the one and only time I've had a bad word to say against a player during the match, and I didn't slag him off, I just correctly said he'd been awful, not like the dickheads who were calling for Haaland to be hooked or Donnarumma to be taken off at half time.

But congratulations on the work you must have put in to dig that nugget out.

I don’t like him but Van Dijk was twice the player of Gabriel and half as snide.

After hitting Cherki in the face, headbutting Haaland and pulling his hair today, next game Gabriel will be hitting the deck holding his face for the slightest bit of contact.

He should be banned for the next 3 games and I’m properly pissed off he’s not.

Especially since Newcastle, Fulham and West Ham all have big, physical centre forwards who would be licking their lips against his replacement.

I don't know how they can say that wasn't a clear headbut attempt from Gabriel really clutching at straws from them

Remember Nasri got sent off for something similar and that was before VAR

We have to give credit to Arsenal for coming to the Etihad and trying to win the game.
Yes they wasted time, used the dark arts, etc. but they also attacked and had chances to win the game.
It was a great game if football with both teams going for it.

They had chances to draw the game, not sure about winning it.

I remember a player getting sent of years ago for taking a swing at a player from behind him, i.e. the payer he'd taken a swing at didn't even know about it - didn't make any contact (or mean to), but the ref sent him off for intent.
