Arsenal (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Anyone explain this?

Arteta said: "We have full belief that we can do it. Today we showed again the team that we are. It's in our hands and it's there for the taking."
The reality is that its still in their hands the same as it is in ours - it will be down to who scores the most/concedes the least!

Came out the ground thinking Gabriel was an obnoxious twat who should have been sent off and that Anthony Taylor was a spineless wanker. Just watched MOTD and guess what; I still think Gabriel is an obnoxious twat who should have been sent off and that Anthony Taylor was a spineless wanker.
You can add Rug Head Rooney to that line up.

the modern game requires keepers to play with their feet. Our style of play also requires keeprs to play with their feet.

Not just that but he is subpar on crosses
I know that they need to be good with their feet but he is here now and isn't going to improve.
The less he has to do with his feet the better. Why antagonise the situation even more by passing the ball across our box and tossing throw ins back to him. His main attribute is shot stopping

Rag dipper chorus in full throttle on MOTD complaining that we celebrated - if the Gooners had won Starmer would have declared a national holiday
Is this the same Arsenal who hold a bus parade when they clear a corner with a header and have little huddles where they all touch each other’s willies every time it goes out for a throw in?

Paddy Power are going to be out quite a few bob if we win this now, having already paid out on arsenal

Arsenal didn't really want it badly enough today and City did just about enough to win the game.
You could tell that everything was on the line and both teams knew each other's weaknesses and strengths.

Cherki is special and when he's had 2 or 3 seasons here i think he will be unstoppable. Great goal today, and he also worked hard for the team as well But B.Silva was the star man, Player of the Game by a mile.
For a team that didn't want it badly enough they scared the living shit out of me,god knows what condition I would be in if they did want it badly enough:)

They didn't bottle it today, though. They took it to us as best they could. We had a couple of not-so-great performances at times, but everybody came good in the end.

Two games against this lot and only conceded a couple of freakish goals, which is pretty impressive (thanks, Havertz).

We edged it, now it's down to us to drive on - a couple of times we've been this buoyant and dropped points unexpectedly, so let's knuckle down and approach Burnley with total professionalism, as the game deserves.

Just hope Rodders is ok.
Exactly, long way to go,one game at a time

What a glorious day. Fuck Arsenal and fuck the marathon. Glad I had to go on the piss too early though.
Domestic treble a fucking cert

What a cracking game today. Fair play to Arsenal they went for it today, thought Eze was their best player. The boys in blue held firm and we took our chances when we needed to. Game on now for the title.
Credit to Donnaruma after losing the goal, crucial save in 2nd half and throw to NOR started the build up for our 2nd goal.

We don't need to use him as a ball player, as much as we did with Ederson. He is obviously not confident or skilled with the ball at his feet.
Before they scored we needlessly kicked 2 balls out in the first 10 minutes for corners when there wasn't an arsenal player within 20 yards of our defenders.
Khusanov was one of those.
Same with the throw in that lead up to the goal. Why throw it back?
There is no advantage whatsoever in bringing Donnarumma into play unnecessarily.
Donna was the only player not marked.
