Arsenal (H) Post match thread

Good points:

Defence looked solid bar the odd mistake.
Sergio back
Bernado back to his best
Ake & Dias look the part.

Negative points:

The attack looks disjointed and toothless
LB is defo a problem
Mahrez should not be in the team, cancelo is also hit and miss.
Pep stop messing about with Foden-The lad is not a winger and should be played in an cam role. We need him passing the ball into space and running at the cbs.

Summary: Not yet at our best but if we can build on this performance defensively it will give us time to scrap wins until the attack is able to perform to the high standards we are used to seeing. Work in progress.
 
Fantastic to see City grind out a 1-0. Haven't seen that for a long while. Diaz could be a transformative player for us. He reads the game so well and smells danger. Bernardo was superb. He can be the beating heart of our team again. A great win against an excellent side. I think the Portugese trio of Cancelo, Bernardo, and Diaz could do great things for us this season.

Not according to Martin Toilet.
Before tonight "Just 1 win so far"
"Worst start to season for years" (after 3 FFS)
"14th in the table"
"7 Goals conceded already this season"
I wonder if someone at Sky HQ is flipping through a book of City negatives and feeding them into Toilet's headset. If the old fool nods off then Neville takes over.
 
Anyone concerned that Kun might be handed a punishment, maybe even a one match ban for touching/grabbing that female ref?

People are making a huge deal about it on Twitter.

where to begin? He flatters to deceive.

He had chances that he needs to be putting away.

He should pass to a player in a better position instead of shooting wide most of the time.

He does not do enough defensively.

Toothless up front and he is part of the problem.

Sane would of passed and silva but he does the step over and if he beats the man his final action is wrong. He either wastes the opportunity by shooting wide when he needs to pass to a player that will score.
