Arsenal (H) | Post Match Thread

That's Oliver through and through. I've always thought he's a very poor ref and easily fooled. More or less the first three free kicks he gave the Arse, there was no contact in any of them by our man.
I thought the challenge on Haaland in the opening minutes in the opening minutes was very questionable....Partey(I think deliberately steps across him...no attempt at the ball whatsoever and clearly initiates the contact......for me that was a penalty but he gave a free kick to them

Hope all of the Akanji doubters in the pre-match thread (again) are eating their fourth course of humble pie, by the way.

What exactly does he need to do for you to think he is a great defender and deserves to be in our side?
I was so impressed with him tonight. I admit I had doubts and thought he was up and down. But some forget 2 things
1. It usually takes a while to settle in and in fact he’d now done it quite quickly compared to say Rodri or Jack
2. Pep always wants to play with intelligent, clever players and Manu I’d clearly that. He had a great game against a really top player and even went on a couple of Curly Wirly type runs

We were ready. They were warned, they prepared, but they couldn't have anticipated just how good we are. That should have been 6/7 and I'm only counting the clear chances, totally dominant from start to finish. That was the equivalent of a boxer holding their opponent at arms length whilst he swings at thin air.

We played very well dont get me wrong but we didn't put in a performance for the ages tonight, it wasn't as high quality as the games against liverpool have been over the past few seasons.

That arsenal side are miles away from matching the liverpool challenge we are used to. granted they're young and I expect them to keep everybody important and improve again but they're nowhere near our level. thibking partey is in the same bracket as rodri is laughable. Putting odegaard in the conversation with kdb even moreso, they claim there's been nobody better than gabriel this season, Ruben Dias. John stones Nathan ake and Manu akanji would disagree.

Genuine title winning sides don't get beat 3-1 at home and 4-1 away as well as get dumped out of the cup by your closest rivals And all of them were a stroll.

The machine rolls on. No silly dropped points for the rest of the season and the titles ours again. Top by end of the weekend with daylight by the end of next weekend when they get done by Newcastle.

Kevin De Bruyne… what else is there to say? The best midfielder in Premier League history, but the nostalgia merchants aren’t ready for that conversation.
Kev was recently voted the best midfielder in Premier League history, which surprised me somewhat...

It seems opposition fans agree with City fans. KDB is just on another level when he's on it! We're so blessed to have him...

Battle for the title....Hahahahahahahaha

The media actually geared this game up as a title decider! We could have forfeited tonight's game and still won the title.

High risk high reward game and we made it look so easy. The arse really did look shellshocked and clueless out there tonight with 12 men on the pitch.
I know there’s others matches to come, but it was a nice warm up match before Madrid that.
