Arsenal (H) | Post Match Thread

They were comparing before the game.
Think it was keown
Who was all for Ødegaard until the very last second when he changed his mind lol

Ødegaard stats are better this season. Goals wise at least.
Big game goals…. De Bruyne steps up…..
Remember when some fuckers were comparing rat face at the swamp to king kev? Madness

One of my united fan mates (a genuine fan not a rag) text me during the match and said he’d take a 4-0 loss in the final right now and that this City team is the best football team he’s ever seen, always appreciate it when real football fans can put allegiances aside and speak honestly with no agenda or bitterness.

Goodmorning fellow blues.
That was sóme performance from the team yesterday. Totally outplayed Arsenal for nearly full 90 min. And we were mild to them. Haaland should’ve had another hattrick on the night while having one of his best allround games for City. KdB was … well KdB.
And Akanji (what a bargain) simply nullified Saka while playing leftback.

I can only say how lucky I am to witness these City teams over the last 12-13 years.
We are an example to all these top teams in the PL. Instead of being proud, the FA choose to hunt us under pressure from the envy elsewhere.

Can’t wait for the next game.

It was a masterclass. Haaland had his best game for us in terms of overall contribution. Holding the ball up, linking with others and should have scored 4 through great footwork but not quite taking his chances.

Luckily De Bruyne showed him how to do it. Then to be able to throw Alvarez, Mahrez and Foden on...superb. Foden's touch for Haaland's goal. Delightful.

A huge shout out to Akanji. He was excellent throughout.

The club took some big calls selling Sterling, Jesus and Zin. No big name left back signed but Pep has nailed a system and it leaves us very balanced and thanks to recruiting well we have a lot of options at both ends of the pitch.
