Pre-lockdown id got into the habit of only turning it on bang on kick off, and off straight after (and watching Pep’s interview later).
I’m surprised they aren’t bringing the red button fanzone comms in - with one option for either team.
There’s always Radio Manchester for the audio I suppose.
Do they still shout “it’s a goal” and then carry on without telling you who scored?

Well joking aside I think its immoral, disrespectful and a downright disgrace that football has been rushed back just for the sake of money and to see Liverpool win the league.
Nearly 50,000 have died in 3 months and all the prem can think of is money money money. Sport should be cancelled for the whole of 2020 .
Anyway rant over I shall not be watching but I hope we win.

Haha, wasn’t that Piccadilly 261, or Virgin rock n roll football who did that?! was good though!
Back when they were going it was more like “oooooh noooo!” With the number of goals we conceded .....over to Brian Clarke (was that his name?) who would talk us through the latest opposition player to waltz through our defence

Maybe ban sport forever 1500 deaths on average without covid, all deaths are a tragedy not just covid, except maybe if you are a terrorist or peodo.
City will win .

My recollection was getting excited when "it's a goal" was played, typically midway through a 70s song like "band of gold". Only to have my hopes dashed when the presenter said. "Let's head over to Rochdale who have just scored". And the dread of them playing "oh no!", which invariably meant City had conceded.

On Radio Manchester I think their jingle was "goal action on 206". It could be a goal for or against a local team. "And we head to Maine Road, where........ City have conceded...again"!

Good times!
