Being a Gooner I was actually there

I don't remember us being physical

Quite the opposite, I thought we played well and deserved to win
Unsurprisingly, most of the posters on here were there as well, including me.

When you get a bent linesman who sees the ball "out of play" when it is 10 feet off the ground, over 60 yards away from him, and he was not up with play so is unable to get a "true" view of the situation, thus disallowing a perfectly good goal, together with a referee who was quite happy to let your thuggery go unpunished, and you have the perfect ingredients for an Arsenal victory.

But then again, it was in the Emirates cup. As you said, though, these things happen.

The good news for you is that it will/should be dry tomorrow for your perambulation to Piccadilly station. Hopefully, that will be the only good news you will have tomorrow!

The fact Wenger gave his whole first team a night off on Thursday speaks volumes. Essentially Arsenal have had a week off to prepare and we've just come back from having our toughest test of the season.

I expect Arsenal to sit back & be solid whilst looking to hit us on the break. The fact we're at home is a positive, but I've got a real feeling of foreboding that tired legs could catch up with us.

Fern and Silvas should be ok to do a bit of running, Jesus also. Ginger kev could be a bit leggy but we'll still win 7-0

They have done pretty well over the years at managing to keep Pep's teams out for decent periods of games, despite being completely outplayed pretty much all the time. Even mugged Barca years ago when their legs went toward the end.

If we finish off our chances, it could become an easy game, but they always try harder & play better v City than v most others, so we will have to be on it.

You can’t help but feel confident the way we are playing - that’s why most city fans think we will win.

But we are City fans and we always think how are we going to Fuck this up.

Teams can’t live with us and I will be surprised if we lose more than 3 games in the league this season. Next season might be the tough one though, managers get Savi to the tactics. Then again what do you do to stop us...enjoy the ride...

This team has moved forward and has had a massive mentality shift. Maybe us supporters need to, aswell.
