I'm worried about this fixture for the first time in ages. City have injuries and players yet to hit the kind of form we expect and Arsenal have improved as a team and seem to be making strides under Arteta although it's still early days. Hopefully Serg and Raheem take some part as does KDB but I'm not holding my breath. Lack of goals and striking options is a concern,
The way the country is as the moment, my heart isn't fully on football

Yeah, think it will be an extremely difficult game and can see us struggling without De Bruyne. Think Sterling will be available though, and can see Aguero maybe making the bench. Looks like Arsenal have a few injury concerns too.

Having earlier advocated a man unorthodox 3-6-1 formation, I’m now going for a more conventional 4-3-3!

Ederson
Walker
Dias
Laporte
Mendy
Rodri
Gundogan
Bernardo
Foden
Mahrez
Sterling

I know Tierney has to isolate, what other injury concerns have they got.?

A lot depends on the earlier game on the day ... the weekend kicks off with the Merseyside derby ... Everton are flying high and at home and the red scouse have had a bruising defeat on the field and another one off it as well ... should Everton give them another blow, by the time our game comes around we’d all be well up for it ... I just hope then the boys and Pep are as well, and why won’t they be ...

Hopefully Kev is ok,as he is irreplaceable.

If not.......

That's ok but I don't like the double pivot

Rodri and gundogun never works. And adding mahrez to the mix slows us even more

Hopefully Bernardo is back to his best. If nothing else, you can count on him for energy.

Neither do i,i just think we are struggling for alternatives.

My other thinking was 3 at the back, given Walkers recent games England.

-------Walker---Dias----Laporte-------
Cancelo-------Rodri---Ake----------Mendy
------Bernardo----Sterling---Foden-----

I'm 99% sure we'll play a Mendy-Laporte-Dias-Walker back 4.
