Surprised some on here aren't confident about a result against us, we had a good win last night, but it was against West Brom kids, the only thing that it did was to lift the gloom a bit.

We still have a couple of our better players out, & by feck we don't have shit the bed against you guys.

Without Foden and KDB, City can be kept out. City should win but Arsenal have quick and direct players on the counter and can hurt City. I think once the season settles down Arsenal will have a good season. I like a lot of your players. I think your fans need to chill but I understand the angst. We have been there too.
 
Realistically, this should be a slam dunk for City. You are the best team in the league with the strongest squad. As much as I’d like to believe we might get something from the game, frankly, I can’t see it. We will defend deep (I hope we play with a back 3) and hope to break quickly, however, you will dominate possession and I just can’t see with that kind of pressure our fragile defence holding out. Hope I’m wrong but having been at the Emirates last Sunday, I’m in the depths of depression notwithstanding last night’s ‘flatter to deceive’ result.
 
Really looking forward to this game. Even though Norwich was my first game since Covid, this one feels like the proper start of the season.

I agree, we have pace up front, & should be set up to play this way, we do when we are at our best. However, the other 95% of the time we play this slow, u shaped football that actually allows other teams to counter on us. Like I say, we also now shit the bed when we play you, get totally scared of your press, the ball ends up like a hot potato & simple passes become impossible.

I do think when we are near full strength we are a lot better than we've shown the first 2 games. Just not confident our fragile players actually believe we can compete.
