Arsenal Negotiate Fabregas Transfer!

You think Nasri will stay if Arsenal are selling there best player? No chance, it shows a lack of ambition. I wouldn't want to stay if the club have just sold their best player and the 2nd best LB in the league last season.

Also, where does this leave Barca on the Sanchez transfer? Skint, thats where.

I would take anything that the president at Barca says about 'transfer budgets' with a pinch of salt.

I could say that I'm the owner of a 12 inch penis, but it's not necessarily the truth is it! (although in this instance it is ;))

In my humble opinion Barca will sign both Sanchez and Fiberglass.

As I said, Fabregas to Barcelona, Nasri to sign a new contract at Arsenal.

Nasri actually has come out and say it will not be about money but about trophies aswell.

Now with their best player probably leaving...even if they offer him a bumper contract. It will not be a bigger contract than he would get here or somewhere else.

So i cannot see him signing a new contract if it's about ambition or money. But if he signs, fair enough...then he has shown his loyalty.

i can see this meaning Mata will be heading to Arsenel ...... only one i can think of that is young, costs less than what they will get for the fabregas transfer, and is a great player in the same position.

little bit upsetting, but i think we never wanted Mata anyway, can't miss what we never had and all that :)

Was'nt there an interview on SSN yesterday with a bigwig from Arsenal, and did he not say that there was no way that Nasri or Fabregas would be sold?. So £35 mill for Fabregas + £25 mill for Nasri, i'm sure Wenger could buy a couple of promising French schoolboys with that dosh.

well they have not been sold? Arsenal chairman have said last night barca have made one single bid all summer and it was 26 million pound. Arsenal have 40 million asking price and told them they have 2 weeks to meet that or forget it as they want to be fair to Cesc.

Its clear Barca is not interested in making a deal at that price and their president have said we will not offer what we did last season as his value has gone down. last year they offered 35 million pound. This sounds like another tactical move from barca to put more pressure on Arsenal and what stood out was Guardiola said we have to 31 of august to make a deal, so its clear they want him on the cheap and will push for that to end of august, if it doesnt happen, no big deal for them

I think Nasri will stay now! I bet he's been assured of playing a centre midfield role and a bumper deal

Hang on a minute, Wenger is saying that neither will be sold, the Chairman is saying the same thing, You are saying differently to those in control of these matters. You are saying that the price to buy Fabregas is £40 mill, well who has decided on that?????, your own Manager & Chairman has'nt according to them.

I don't see the point in it all though. What pressure would be on Arsenal? They know that Fabregas will still give 100% for Arsenal regardless.

Its not as if they say they will only give so much for a player and that player forces his way out of the club.

When he finally leaves its the start of the sky falling in for Arsenal IMO.

Will Nasri stay ? He could get injured, more likely to have a poor season in a weakened side, his stock could fall.

If Fabragas, Nasri and Clichy all leave Arsenal this summer will RVP we willing to stay and fight it out for 5th or 6th spot in the league ? Also the possibility of missing Champions league this season as well.

Worrying times for Arsenal fans and Wenger.

barca has one goal in all of this and thats for cesc to push for a move and force barca to accept their bid. We all know Cesc wants to go to barca and they are using that to lower the price. So far he hasnt come out and pushed for a move, this is something their last president have commentated on saying the player have to show he wants to play for barca as well.

This is exactly what they did with sanchez and it looks like they will get him on a lower price than city was willing to pay. Cesc has obviously asked for a move privately. The only reason why he cant come out openly is if he pushes for a deal openly, and the deal doesnt work out, he's stuck in a team where the fans will turn on him and his life will become more uncomfortable.

If his relationship with arsenal were to break down, the club can always put him in the market, but his barca desire wouldnt die and assume someone comes in for him and offer +40 miollion, why would that team sell him to barca the season after or would barca suddenly be willing to offer alot more money to that team?

Wenger said I want to keep the player and its not only about money....if that was the case we would have put him on the market, having said that to offer 26 million pound for Cesc is also p!ss take
