They havent, the 40 million price comes from spain with barca informing media thats what arsenal wants.

Was'nt there an interview on SSN yesterday with a bigwig from Arsenal, and did he not say that there was no way that Nasri or Fabregas would be sold?. So £35 mill for Fabregas + £25 mill for Nasri, i'm sure Wenger could buy a couple of promising French schoolboys with that dosh.

Personally, I think Arsenal want £45m for Cesc, but will be willing to take £40m for him.

Arsenal havent said anything publically and had one clear message....we dont want to sell the player. But the player want to leave and barca have obviously been talking to them and they have quoted that price....according to barca. If it was between keeping Cesc or getting that fee, Arsenal would keep him. But the player wants to leave

Thats the disgusting thing about barca try to force the clubs to sell cheaper because they think they have a right to pay less than everyone. That and all the players public tapping up advising him to force a move.
