Went for Akanji for a change. Best game I’ve seen him play for us, against the myth that is Saka. KDB brill of course, but I’m one who has been doubting of Akanji often in the past, so fair play tonight; he was brilliant (as was Walker tbf).

Haaland had an excellent game whilst poor in front of goal by his standards. Kev was miles ahead of anyone for MOTM but mention for Akanji at left back also.

It’s impossible to look past KDB. People talking about Odegaard…yeah it’s all good turning it on against shite. Do it against the big boys like KDB does time and time again. Anyone putting Odegaard in the same bracket as KDB wants sectioning.

The rest of the side were collectively excellent but special mentions to Haaland and Akanji. Haaland was incredible up there and Akanji was ridiculous playing in an unfamiliar position against a top-class opponent.
