Dominated the game and had it won but yet again we throw it away with first a criminal header from Clichy and then Mangala losing his runner and Fernandinho just not going with Sanchez and stopping him.

Kun and KdB excellent as was Fernandinho apart from the 2nd goal.

Kelechi poor, Sterling with yet another completely anonymous sub appearance and the manager not putting KdB in behind Kun which frankly fucking mystifies me.

We will end up where we deserve and if its the EL then so be it.

Roll on the summer and a break from the game and roll on Pep.
 
This has been the story of the premier league season- failure, failure and even more failure. There will be enough time over the summer to find out why the season has been a failure (hopefully he can hold on to 4th place but we still need to go and beat Swansea, which will not be an easy task), but everybody is to blame from the manager to the mood of some of our fans. The mentality has to change for everyone involved with City.

Not a good result and a good situation.
 
Again, match against a top8 side----> draw or loss. Its a draw. No surprise here.

I 100% sure Pelle is on a revenge for getting the axe, not based on todays game based on our whole league form since February. He got fired what does he care we are in CL or EL next season. He might as well laugh into the face of Pep to send him to the EL.

The defensive mistakes today and against Soton just shows where his system got us in 3 full seasons. Nowhere. we dont have a defensive system, no plans going to how defending should be happening. In 3 years this is a mess.

And now United got a huge team talk from us as a gift for their last two games. They might fuck it up and we get lucky or we fuck up Swansea game as well. If Pelle is still here dont be surprised with a draw or loss at Swansea.
 
A point at Saints and it would still be in our hands. Still, we can always console ourselves with the CL semi-final trophy. I assume we got one, right?
 
usual lack of application last 20 minutes after they scored the equaliser, this group of players has a fundamental collective flaw. Great to see Rahim come on and have such an influence as usual, what a great purchase he has been...symbolic of the cumulative, dreadful decisions that have been made in the last 2 years by our hierarchy.
All started brightly as well but as usual, someone at the back has to cock up big time and ruin it immediately.

I'm more concerned about how that now affects player recruitment and of course, the reduced income from CL.

Not just MP to blame, the whole management team must carry the can for the gamble that didn't pay off.
 
Those last 5 minutes when the ball goes out of play instead of busting a gut to get it back in play we saunter off without two fucks given to time being wasted. I counted 3 times it happened. We honestly couldn't give a fuck.
 
No CL and we're gonna have more difficulty getting our 1st choice players in the summer now.

Wonderful way to start Pep's reign, a manager we've been lining up since 2012.

We played reservedly agains Southampton in readiness for the RM game... we played reservedly against RM in readiness for this game, in the processwewere knocked out of CL and have handed the initiative to that bunch of twats across town (the only reason I am bothered about not qualifying for the CL).

Fuck off Pellegrini you have never really delivered much here given the squad you inherited and the money given.
