Arsenal Post Match Thread.

I had hoped we might see the back of gutless performances under Pep ,performances where an opponent needed clinically killing off but were invited back into the game. I saw no leadership on the pitch (Silva is a not a Captain) and no tactical genius off the pitch .

Agreed. This squad needs a huge shake up - so many fucking spineless pussies and a bunch of coasters who know they're on the way out.
Young, hungry players who have the motivation as well as quality with big potential. Players like Sane, G. Jesus etc are required.

Happy with a point...poor performance today! Cant believe how many passes we messed up! Happy to just get to the summer transfer window with a top 4 finish and then we can move on from 5 or 6 of these players....

Well it was a pretty good game. Thought Stones was very good, brilliant finishes Agüero and Sané and what an assist from my motm KDB. Defence again not the best on either goal. We started amazingly and in comparison it was quite flat in the 2nd half. But we created towards the end and we should've had a penalty so we did all we could.

It takes a great deal for me to get angry over city since the takeover but that performance has infuriated me... I'm not singling one or two out but we have a spine of pussies.

A top side would of smelt blood in that game, especially after the chavs result, there's a good few in that team today that should be pissed off with certain team mates complete lack of heart!!

The manager has to take some blame for the attitude. He's already written off any challenge and
it's the system and the way we play, that seems more important than actual results.
He keeps saying that he's so so happy with his players, surely he can't be THAT happy.
Saying that, there's not a lot he can do until the transfer window opens.

How come those dregs from M16 do so much better in the big games than us?, we are along with Arsenal the weakest mentally of the top 6.

The ball was in the air for ages and he moved his arm out to knock it away, it couldn't be any more stonewall. As for the rest of that, it is utterly irrelevant to whether we should actually get refereeing decisions. You don't have to batter every team to beat them, you just have to score more than them and we should have done that if the referee gives us that penalty. Our chances also would have been a lot better had he sent off Walcott for going over the ball in the first half with a leg breaker, or if Xhaka had got a second yellow for lunging in like a lunatic on Yaya, or if Coquelin had got his second yellow for the blatant cynical stop on De Bruyne.

sorry but you can have that view and still be blinded by it.....we would have socred more if we could have made simple passess and they would have had hardly any chances if we could mae simple passses

the Coquelin one i fully agree with you on..he should have gone for a second yellow....

aim sure the arsenal fans are sayign the same about Navas with his knee high challenge early inthe first half .....honsetly dont remember the Xahca one on Yaya btu its all irrelevant

some people will make excuses every week where i want to look at what we did and what we didnt do........we didnt pass well at all today and we failed to retain possession in dangerous areas of the pitch with KDB, Sane being very guilty along with Stones and Ottomendi......

fair enough.

but not winnign today had nothing to do with that incident.....play anywhere near the way we can and pass like we can then that one incident wouldnt even being debated......it had nothing to with why we didnt win...we didnt deserve to
Be honest did you take the same tack against Chelsea and Spurs as I'm having deja vu here.

Too many blues defending shit/biased refereeing after too many big games because they want to have a good moan at the players about the performance or wasted chances. It's a fact we'd have more points had we got the right calls in too many big games this season, it's nothing to do with if you or I feel we "deserved it" because we were "wasteful with the chances we had" or just looked flat or didn't want it enough... it's about big calls going against us time and time again. I'd rather have those calls and the points and then we address the performance from a better position, Pep isn't one to brush over a bad performance because of a good result despite what he says to the press.
