The media have played their part in the downfall of Arsenal. Just like rags, they fell for the distraction of City and FFP. Wenger misdirected them at us for years and the media ate it up.

Now comes the reckoning. Three English giants have fallen to shit under American vulture capitalists. In each case the media made excuses while attacking our owner, a man who did the complete opposite by investing in us. It was never a generous sheikh who was going to bring down English football, you did it all on your own.
I say the same to my Arsenal friends. A few have season tickets as well and the prices are ridiculous. The way Arsenal is run is what should make fans angry. An owner like City's should be what every fan wants. Tries to make tickets as cheap as possible, invest in the club, invest in the local area and invest in youth teams (though I doubt that will ever pay off).

All correct bar the tries to make tickets as cheap as possible. He doesn't do that!

IIRC the tickets for us only went up after FFP. I wonder if our prices would have remained low if FFP hadn't existed.

Our sheikh doesn't give a crap about a few million. It only matters in relation to FFP.

Arsenal represent everything that is bad about modern football. It's ironic that their fans and Wenger slag us off so much. Their owners have spent years lining their own pockets and ripping off their own fans and they have invested nothing in their local community. They made hundreds of millions on the property deals at Highbury and most of the money was invested abroad. The are a disgrace but of course they are the darlings of the media.

City were crucified for playing foreign players and Arsenal were lauded for "doing things the right way." In fact we won the league in 11-12 with more English players (six) than any team since the 1980s. That's something you never see reported.

If ever a professional football club defined the word "spineless" its Arsenal F.C. and their whinging , moaning , supporters.
Nope that would be Tottenham. There is something in the water up there. Throw in Leverkusen there too.

That's what I thought, but I could be wrong. With FFP you kind of need the extra millions, which you wouldn't if it had not been brought in. Still I think your tickets are cheaper than most big clubs.

Not many reporters can spell the word English.

Arsenal are like their Norf Landan neighbours. They have a soft underbelly, and can be got at. They were the better side tonight, but got done with a couple of sucker punches. Plus, they have a contender for ''biggest twat in the PL'' playing for them. When he isn't injured.

Was incredible the stat that showed the rags hadn't had a shot on target but were 1-0 up. Couldn't see that happening to us, Chelsea or the rags. That's why arsenal will always be 4th and not higher.

Imo Wenger and arsenal are the reason why ticket prices are so expensive now.
