Our defending starts from Haaland because it's a team sport, having an outstanding individual in defence does not win you the title or the Champions League,
Arsenal have individuals that think they are the best at what they do and a manager that says they are the best
Pep and everybody at Manchester City are a team, not individuals

Bad day at the office with ten men, Arsenal are a quality team and it just goes to show that in the PL even diddy teams like Bournemouth and Fulham who have spent very well can cause the top teams problems on their day.

They are a team, but one that plays by numbers. It was interesting to be at the Inter game and then the Arsenal one back to back.
Inter’s press and buildup was on a different level to Arsenal’s. Barella, especially, saw how the buildup had to be each time and it was different each time.
With Arsenal, they’ve obviously been coached very nice passing patterns, but they are the same. If they don’t alter this, they’ll never likely win stuff consistently.
It was the same with the press. When we adapted our build up, Arsenal struggled to get their press right, whereas Inter were onto us far quicker.
Arsenal were clinical against us, but didn’t “deserve” to win/draw. Inter deserved to win, but missed their opportunities.
Arsenal need to loosen up both mentally and tactically. They’re not far off, but they’re too emotional and lose their heads when things don’t go how they planned.

It's a team sport mate yes but an individual can be the best in their field.
That's what the ballon d'Or is for.
No crime in saying someone is the best in their position.
For me Rubens header from Edersons save won us the champions league final just as much as rodders goal and Edersons other saves..

As good as it is to see one of our title rivals drop points we still have to do our own job tomorrow. Tricky game. With a bit of luck Chelsea will nick something against Liverpool and we'll win. It would be nice to have a little gap to cushion us until we get Kev and Bobb back and hopefully Gundo finds some form.
