Arsenal Thread | 2024/25

Should be a red. Out of his box, on the pitch and interfering with play.

My god I hate coneboy.

I can't wait for the day he's finally sacked.

He'll be a journey man getting continually sacked for falling out with players and end up in 4th tier of Spanish football before becoming an annoying pundit.

I give him 4 years until that happens.

City in crisis, as Arsenal lose their 3rd game out of the last 6

Can call it 3 out of the last 5 meaningful games given the 6th game was a win at Preston in the league Cup

How come ??
It was a new building then that catered for youngsters in the area.
Plus it was around the corner from where I lived and my best pal lived almost next door to it, so it was very convenient for us.
Was probably fine in 69/71

Was odd in the early/mid eighties

That assumes we're capable of playing that way. With a half fit squad.
We have a numerical squad capable of winning most games.

Spurs...basically thrown pre match.

Bournemouth...could've drawn in last 10 minutes.

Sporting ...could've/should've been 3/4 up at half time but became jigsaw for 15 minutes.

As always fine margins particularly in both boxes.

Our 'All Black's' mentality has been bruised but not broken.

Ruthless
Relentless
Remorseless.

The break will hopefully give everyone the opportunity to clear their minds and refocus on our intense, successful culture which is new to Savinho, Nunes and Doku.

The leaders must step forward and galvanise /inspire everyone with realistic positive rhetoric.

Anyone that's not joined up ( al la Cancello ) can sit on the bench or go if they are so minded.

This is a battle for the infantry but with a snipers mentality.

Go to war City !!

Agree it's going to be tough - i just don't think trying all out to score first (within 20 mins) will be a good tactic v these - Must be easier to play deeper - within the 18 yard box width wise as well - we help us keep the chances down with an unfit squad. Possibly better for Haaland as well..eddy launching one as we go for a smash and grab. No one better 1 v1 than big erl, best I've ever seen...Salah aside

The 'leaders' bit is really where we are lacking - as much as i love Dias - even when fit - just don't think he has it..KDB either, seems always pissed off - missing Rodri in many different ways

Walker,Bernie,Erling, Boulders, Akanji ??

Dozens of tournaments, Hundreds of caps, Thousands of caps.

This is time for a 'CHURCHILL' to step forward

His bold leadership in the face wavering colleagues saved the BEF of 330,000 soldiers from destruction at Dunkirk by evacuation with an armada of small boats.

Many of those men were in the van on D Day four years later.

Now is the time for backbone not backdown !!
