Or a City!Well done Arsenal and thanks for beating those self entitled bunch of wankers. Please don't blow it in the second leg. Don't do a Barcelona.
The dippers rags and Real fluctuate although the rags are pretty irrelevant at the momentI know how you feel mate. Are yours set in stone, mine fluctuate at times, lol.
And mine although my issue is the self entitled wankers that are Arsenal FC are the otherThey easily make it into my top two
Yes, a mild irritant. The dippers rags and Real fluctuate although the rags are pretty irrelevant at the moment
Mine do, but always Rags and Dips equal first, Spuds 3rd, then perm any from who keeps doing us in Europe - currently Real Mardarses. Plus I loathe Bellingham.I know how you feel mate. Are yours set in stone, mine fluctuate at times, lol.
Im agreeing that he cant do the job as a lone 6 in a team that wants to dominate or have much creativity.I wonder why he is never trusted as a number 6 on his own then.
A perfect example of "staying humble".
He picked soft "targets". If he'd tried that shite on with some of Madrid's ultras, there's a strong possibility it would have ended up messy for him. Those naughty Tarquins. I haven't seen the video of them causing trouble, but do their mums and dads know they were out at that time of night? They'll end up with smacked botties and detention.
Haha great twist on it. Rice had a stinker of a tournament, Southgate had to chop and change what other DM had to play next to Rice and hold his hand, because there isn't trust on Rice playing that position alone. Gallagher, Mainoo, Trent all got tried there, when instead Bellingham should have been an 8, Rice 6 and Foden 10. Southgate didn't do that because just like for club (Partey - Jorginho) and country (Phillips-Mainoo-Gallagher etc) he needs a defensive player next to him
I don't really believe all that 'RL always find a way' nonsense, but they do have the luck of the devil himself in that competition. Arsenal on the other hand are prone to tripping up within view of the finish line. Stay humble indeed.
Why isn’t he ? He’s been a consistent top player for West Ham and now Arsenal year on year , only thing he lacked for us was attacking wise and getting goals but he seems to be doing that at Arsenal. Fine to disagree. Part of me wanted him to fail at Arsenal and be a flop, but I’m rational to see he’s a class act.
He's the kind of player you only really appreciate if he plays for your team every week. Also technically underrated, Joe Cole and Jack Wilshere were raving about his technical ability. I saw him do some pretty crazy skills in training.
He came through as a defensive midfielder, yet for Arsenal he has Partey next to him or Jorginho and for England he has never once been trusted to play that position alone. Two defensive midfielders is ultra defensive. I think he is a great 8, a number 6, he is not.Rice definitely doesn't need a 'defensive' player next to him or Partey and Odegaard wouldn't work with him. He needs a deep lying playmaker though. Also Rice's engine to get box to box is like having 12 men in your team so playing him as a 6 is a bit of waste of his engine.
Those, who doubted him, must be feeling a bit sheepish now.27m for Merino was a great investment from Arsenal
