Arsenal Thread | 2024/25

I don’t think Starmer, nor Arsenal, nor the Premier League had much option.

As the PM said yesterday, it would have cost the taxpayers a hell of a lot more to provide protection for him in his usual seat in the stadium.

It’s better for Arsenal and the Premier League to fund it than us mere mortals.

And before anyone says he should give up his football, why should he?

I know, I’d be devastated, if I was told I couldn’t go to Etihad anymore.

And it gives him a couple of hours' escape away from the stresses of his job.

Stop talking sense on the internet.

He said they’re coming to the Etihad to win on Sunday. Let’s see

Well he wouldn't come out and say they plan to sit back and bag a draw is he. They also probably haven't even had any instruction about the game yet. They won't come out all guns blazing leading to a wide open game, why would they. I just hope we can break them down this time.

He did have a choice. If you agree with the security line then rather than accepting his seat for free he could have paid for it. He’s on 160k/yr

Rubbish , Sunak sat in the stands , HRH sits in the stands at villa . KS is on the take . Biggest fraud in politics and that’s something after we had to suffer Boris

Anyone else got a take on that double save?

They’re going Gordsn Banks on it today. Penalty was shite - should have been a retake. The header was piss poor and he had time to let it bounce and hook his hand around it.

You’ve got to save them, mind, but I was expecting better after hearing about it all day.
