Saka is extending this year, already been reported.

Plus, You guys cant assure him Premier League football
Fair enough, a good repost. But if you want to get into the financial stuff, you might need to sell him when your massive unlawful shareholder loans are addressed, and your share of the enormous damages City will be getting are paid over.

I have an untested and unproven theory that you get 2 seasons to try and win titles with the main squad of players you have. If you don't do it in two seasons you're not going to. You cant improve that squad incrementally - you either have to change the manager OR bring in at least two big talent and personality players . Then the 2 year clock gets reset. Liverpool did it when they bought in Allison and Van Dijk. We did it with Silva, Yaya and Aguero.

The jump from runners up to winners isn't achieved by small improvements but by big leaps. Teams can one off a competition like Leicester or West Ham but it isn't sustainable and you have to follow it up within that two season period with something else. You see the same with teams going for top 4 sometimes.

When Arsenal could have made the leap they bought Zinchenko, Jesus and Sterling. All players I loved at City but poor choices to make that squad leap up. And the two year period for most of them has expired.

Do you remember when your former players started wanting to win a Premier League so moved teams to do so...?

Then when our former players just wanted an easy pay day and some bright lights...?

Ah, yes, fun times...

Zubimendi and Gyokeres are on the way to the Arse.

We are a net buy of players now, not a net seller. Stan owns almost all of Colorado. The Walton family own haf of Walmart and half that land on every Walmart store in America. American capitalism is still the ultimate power when it comes to money.
