Said to my brother weeks ago, we’re ready to be put to sleep, we’ve got our jimmy jams on, got our cup of milk, read our bedtime story… but they just can’t tuck us in.

Any other Pep season, prior to 24/25 and we’d have already won it, such are these mentality molluscs.

I just hope the last two outings are a turning point for this City team and we can continue winning. A victory tomorrow and against Arsenal and I think they’ll completely fall away.

But in the past we have stolen titles we shouldn't have won. This season Arsenal have been getting the points on the board and have built a lead, I even think if Arsenal won today the 12 points gap would have been enough, even with 2 games in hand for City and Chelsea to play on Sunday.

But it's City and we all know magic can happen, Arsenal losing today just sprinkles that little bit more of the magic dust

Mersons’s a clown. When arsenal win he says they’ll win the title at a canter. When they lose he says they’ll blow it. He changes his opinion depending on the week to week results. You’d think as an ex player, he’d realise one swallow does not a summer make. Although he’s snorted so much powder (allegedly) maybe he doesn’t remember he was once a player

Players have different attributes and are suited to different systems. I can’t think of an Arsenal player that would improve our team in the way we play.

I'm genuinely astounded by Arsenal. Astounded.

How after all this time and with all the experience they've gained from the last 3 or 4 years have they still not learned how to handle this stage of a season? It's bordering on negligence.

Not arsenal. They have a manager who is sending his team out with the belief they arent quite good enough.

And theres the difference , arteta isnt a top grade coach

We will, hopefully, be a lot better next season, as the new recruits of the last 18 months will:
1. Have matured and become better footballers
2. Have learnt Pep’s style and system better
3. Have got to know each other better, and will therefore be more attuned to what pass or movement their teammates will make.

If we don’t win the title this season, we won’t be far away next term, IMHO.

Let their centre backs have the ball. They aren’t good at progressive passes, so they kept passing back to Raya, who is better at it, but if you press Zubimendi and Rice as well, then Raya will punt it long.

If Arsenal don’t sort that, they could drop points in more games.
