Arsenal Thread | 2025/26

Not just that. I didn't realise after he scored he went and right in front of the Arsenal fans and stared at them.
Oh yeah!

I hadn’t thought about that.

But the twat on one of those fan channels called Rayan a "prick," which he almost certainly hadn’t noticed.

All I'm hearing is that Arsenal can take a lot from yesterday's match. Played well, hit the post twice (as we did), could have drawn blah blah blah.
City always let teams play...it's the way we set up and go for teams. We've made teams worse than Arsenal look good....Spurs, Forest, Utd etc. Let's see how they do against Newcastle who will go for a point and defend deep. If its 0-0 after 30 minutes The Emirates will be on their back, nerves kick in, Arteta goes full Arteta and they become the team that lost to Bournemouth.
Arsenal can celebrate a good performance if they want but it counts for fuck all going forward.

Keane said it right - do you want plaudits or points

It's quite a dilemma for them: this is the closest they've got to getting their effeminate ickle hands on the Prem title for over 20 years, but the City juggernaut is on course to even deny them that. If they stick with Madame Neurosis he might do exactly the same this time next year, but only after spending another half-billion to get the chance. Or do they fuck him off and give the money to Sean Dyche? Much better football than Lego (and a voice emanating from a voice box made of sandpaper, as opposed to that fucking whimpering Milhouse Van Houten lump of mahogany we're used to).

Decisions, decisions.
Brilliant

This assume that the manager was the main factor in you becoming contenders again rather than the half a billion you spent improving the squad.

It would be disingenuous to say he hasn't been a big factor in them becoming contenders again.

Plenty of teams have spent big money before with no improvement

What has happened to Bridgeno? The deluded gooner? I blocked him because I'd had a belly-load of his wumming, but I haven't seen any of his posts for a while.
Same as those two prolific dipper posters that were tollerated on here. Disappear as soon as the going gets tough. If we drop points I'm sure he'll reappear like the shop keeper in Mr Ben.

Made me chuckle that! One for the oldies there! Me Ben was my favourite kids programme back in the day. I agree about how these posters disappear and re appear like Houdini when it suits.

I blocked him too.
Did he provide an opinion as to why £105 million Declan " better than Ya Ya Toure" Rice was totally anonymous again in a key game?
Rice wasn’t great but I wouldn’t say he was anonymous. Zubimendi on the other hand - I watched Match of the Day highlights and saw the Arsenal line-up and was genuinely shocked to find out that he had played - I would have bet very good money that he hadn’t!
