Arsenal thread | 2025/26

Every club has their weird fans. I generally ignore Goldbridge and and that mad dublin fella who follows liverpool.
I dont mind Robbie or Ty for arsenal at all but the worst of all fans is that bald arsenal fella with the pointsy nose. Ignorant as fuck.
Well, just walked into the front room and the missus is watching a food programme called "The Taste Test Restuarant" on Channel 5 and there he is, scoffing pancakes.

I've never seen so much self fellating from a fanbase over something so insignificant at this stage than the arsenal fans wanking themselves silly over having the best defensive record. It's just plain weird. You'd think they've just gone 38 games without conceding a single goal the way they're going on about it. We've only conceded 3 more than them and yet every pundit will tell you how our defence can be got at.

Odegaard, Madueke and Jesus expected to be available off the bench vs Sp*rs. Hope to see Gabby back after his ACL.

Gyokeres and Martinelli still not training and Gabriel is out until the New Year. Havertz maybe back around Xmas. Calafiori still hasn't trained.

Just noticed we have a TON of Gabriel's in the squad.

Not ideal having your derby on Sunday, after the 2 week break and a few injuries to contend with - and Spurs really have a free hit; the pressures on Arsenal to win, especially if City do the business away at Newcastle tomorrow. Spurs are bloody unpredictable.

Arguably Gabrielle is your most important player - at both ends of the pitch and he's gonna be out for a month or more. Your fall-away might start a bit earlier than usual.

We've conceded one fewer in the 8 games since bringing in Donnarumma but when you've spent the thick end of a billion quid and won the square root of fuck all I guess you've got to find something to try to cling on to.

That's not true. Arsenal have conceded 5 goals across all competitions all season, 4 since Donnarumma joined 1st week Sept.

Since you brought in Donnarumma you conceded 1 to Dortmund, 1 to Bmth, 1 to Swansea, 1 to Villa, 2 to Monaco, 1 to Burnley and 1 against us. That's 8 goals since he came in.

Agree but the thing is, you know how Sp*rs turn into peak Zico Brazil at the Etihad? Well they do the absolute opposite at the Emirates. They shit the bed. So Chelsea away the week after will be much trickier and hopefully we get some more players up to speed after injury.

I was replying to a poster who was talking about league games, perhaps if you had read it properly you would have realised.
Clearly me pointing out your lack of silverware despite spending almost one billion pounds has triggered a reaction.
Come back when you've won 4 in a row and the treble.

The same applies to league games. Donnarumma and Raya have conceded 4 each since Donnarumma joined.

Perhaps you could explain to me how Donnarumma conceded at Swansea when James Trafford was in goal or why you're sticking your beak into a conversation about league games and trying to include goals conceded in European competition.
Maybe Mourinho had you in mind when he called Wenger a voyeur.

OK he conceded 7 in all games or 4 in league games which is the same as Raya conceded in league games (and all games for that matter) since Donnarumma joined. So that's not 1 less goal conceded than Arsenal like you said.

People are entitled to their own opinions, but not their own facts.

The fact is you jumped into a conversation about league games with Donnarumma and in addition to trying to include cup games, you also tried to count a game Donnarumma didn't even play in.
Fact is you've never won 4 in a row, never won the treble and never won the Champions League.

It's hard not to think Arsenal will win something this season. But one things for sure nothing gets won in November.
Am looking forward to keeping the pressure on them. Now the Dippers have bottled back 2 back titles.

They’ve gone past the point of being able to claim a domestic cup as success though. It has to be one of the two major trophies at this stage of Artetas tenure or the season will rightfully be deemed another unsatisfactory campaign

I just wish Arteta would tell the truth from the off regarding injuries, like when Odegaard picked up his injury against West Ham, Arteta said “ he’ll be out for a couple of weeks” that was on October 4th, so he’s been out 7 weeks, don’t really know why Arteta has to lie or dress it up tbh.

Arsenal shit the bed every year. Is that an opinion or a fact?
