Arsenal thread | 2025/26

Saliba just agreed a 3 year contract extension. For all our signings we've made, that's the best piece of business we've done all summer.

Eat shit Madrid!
Just secured a transfer fee instead of him leaving for fuck all

So how much profit last season
well they won the we beat city trophy but had to share it with alot of people, they won we choked in a 2 horse race trophy but they win that every season, they won the we celebrated too early trophy but once again they are perennial winners of that, they won the most cringeworthy celebration trophy but are usually strong contenders for that also, not sure how those trophies impacted their finances tho.

Arsenal are too emotional to win anything big. They are not professional enough.
They were still doing that absurd waving at the crowd last Sunday. It looks pathetic and distracts the players. The crowd was not responding though and the Arsenal fan I spoke to on the train said their fans hate it. I think it’s a sign of weakness.

They also won the trophies for most toxic private media briefings about City and the most interest free loans from their owners.

The wild enthusiasm with which gooners greet every corner or other set piece seemed to vanish with every one we cleared nonchalantly. This could well mark the end of their winning the our-players-are-bigger-than-yours trophy.

Even for Arsenal the crowd last weekend was very passive. The theatrical long throws with the ball being dried were embarrassing.

Their mentality is getting better. Two weeks running they’ve scored late goals.

Mind you, they did that in 22/23 and 23/24 too and came out with nothing to show for it.

I fear (for them) that their gameplan is geared towards set pieces because they’re pretty blunt other than that. They were exciting to watch a few years ago but now consolidate and aim for corners.

The problem for everyone else is that they keep scoring from them

Depends what we are up against. Current Dippers side is nowhere near the level that City side was. Still trying to work out what level this current City side is as well as those 3 will be the contenders.

Congrats on winning the league in September again mate.
