Arsenal Thread | 2025/26

Final five minutes had: time wasting leading to your best attacking player going off; clown car defending from your most important defender/keeper; and zero discipline from the only player in the team to have actually won major trophies after the final whistle has gone. Doesn't look like a club or team who know how to handle the pressure. Not even into the squeaky bum period of a run in yet.

Came here for this. It's only February and they (and their fans) appear to be as on edge as if it was the last day of the season.

According to some self-imploding gunners on X, the PL have fucked them over by moving this game to tonight before the north London derby, whereas we have had those extra days until the Newcastle game.

Those people are going to struggle to sleep tonight. lol.

I’ve always said the title race doesn’t even really start until late March and Arsenal start acting like it started in November every season. They’re already mentally and emotionally exhausted by the time the real title race gets going.

Added to that I reckon a significant majority of games they have won have been won by the odd goal, so they’ve not been able to rest physically or mentally during the game.

And that’s on the manager.

My concern is that Arteta and the set piece coach will be sat on the coach home pondering what's missing, only to conclude that the final piece of the puzzle is Kayode and his fuck off long throw.
