Arsenal Thread | 2025/26

I'm going to enjoy them shitting their pants but we can't get carried away, we are still 5 points behind. we've got a game in hand and the possibility of beating them when we face them on our own turf but they've got the easier fixture list overall, we've got a few tough games that we can expect to drop points in so we'll still need a full on bottlejob for the ages from them to win this.

You can really see just how much that second again song gets under Arsenal fans skin. I suspect that rubs off on the entire club too. I think its a pretty crap song in truth but seeing how much it gets to them, If they bottle it again, it'll be 90 minutes of it every single game next season

Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahah
Compare and contrast Tosshard's "concussion" with Khusanov's after taking a Donnarumma direct to his head.

One of them was all about trying to get back on the pitch to help his team out whilst it's being explained to him that 60secs ago he'd been out cold; the other fell over clutching his face (TWICE) after being pushing in the chest.

Usual crap from the media.
'Who's got the easier run in' After last night why attempt to predict results.
'Bukayo Saka can be the one to lift Arsenal out of their gloom,' writes IAN HERBERT
The fact that the general view from last night was that he was poor and part of the problem

Cool result, now lets see PGMoL applying their own laws relating to obstruction at corners namely that, "being in the way of an opponent is not the same as moving into the way of an opponent", and award free-kicks to the defending team for practically every single corner they take. Then we'd really see them losing their composure.

When are people going to get into their heads that it’s not about the fixtures at this stage of the season but more about who can handle the pressure best.

There are no easy fixtures in the premier leagues especially during the run in.

Arsenal fans love to claim that their players are world class but even if they are excellent in well functioning teams I think they lack the character to dig in when the going gets tough. The likes of Kompany, Silvas x 2, Fernandinho, KdB, Gundo etc. are true winners with grit and determination and that shows.
The character of some of our newer players will be tested over the next few months but I am confident that they will not be found wanting.
Arsenal may yet win the title and other trophies but they are going to have to improve and I am not sure that they have that in them. and their fans are not helping going into meltdowns when they still are clear at the top.

No good being world class for the first 25 games of the season then look like shite and nervous as fuck after that! None them for me are world class until they turn up when it matters the go on and win a major trophy! At moment all they are, are bottled jobbers!

He was taken off on the instructions of the medics. He was clearly concussed and IMHO it should have been a 2nd yellow for the Wolves player.

Not that it matters. These flaky twats have absolutely pissed this title away. The equaliser wasn't where I thought we'd fucked the league. It was Rice and Eze shouting at each other over who would take the corner - that's not the behaviour of a team in the zone.

Our only hope is City fuck up some games but I don't see it. And if that happens and we don't win the league Arteta has to go. It was literally handed on a platter to us this season and somehow it seems we've fucked it. We can't even defend properly now. We knew our attack was shit but could always rely on a solid defence but now that's gone as well. Can see us finishing behind City and Villa.

You wonder why you continue to fail with a fanbase like yours ffs
5 points clear of a team in transition ...........i know instead of getting behind the team during a sticky patch we shall turn on them .........no wonder the majority of football fans want you to fail because you get this pathetic overeaction

That is an aspect, it doesnt entirely negate the strength of the opposition.

Easier games mean nothing if your mentality aint right .....................last night was the easiest game going on paper and they fooked that right up. All whats gonna happen is that the pressure is gonna ramped right up probably worse thsn ever and we all know what ends up happening with that lot

Aw bless sky sports news.
Just breaking the news of Saka's contract extension.

Didn't that news break yesterday?

The bellend on sky sports news actually said after the bad news there has to be good news.

Well what a surprise. Got to keep the red cartel wanker fans happy.
Is there a clause in it that says he only has to play for 70 mins?

I see Gabriel had yet another life threatening head injury last night that he rolled around for a few seconds with making out it was as if someone hit him with a cricket bat.

I think he’s going to have to retire early like some of the rugby players do when they have too many head knocks.

WHAT’S THAT?

HE WAS FAKING IT AGAIN AND JUMPED STRAIGHT UP AND RAN OFF WHEN NOBODY FELL FOR IT?

Alright, never mind then!

Saw it again earlier. Rice was pissed off when the physio came on meaning Gabriel would have to go off.

26 seconds in.
