Chelsea shouldat least test them more than spurs did
Sp*rs were incredibly open and were pretty much inviting us to score. They were weak in midfield and at the back. I'm pleased with the result but the Rice error and the disallowed goal that was very soft still make me think we shouldn't get carried away. There were some signs in that game that we aren't at it defensively - although good to see Gyokeres continue his good form since the start of the year. And 4 open play goals means we are now only behind City for open play goals scored in the PL this season so I guess the Billion Pound Stoke tag might have lost its lustre a bit.

Chelsea with Caicedo and Fernandez will be much stronger although they still struggle defensively and Fofana got sent off so will be out.

We also don't have the best record at Brighton.

One thing is for certain this amazing unbreakable defence is fast becoming a thing of the past. You can almost certainly Arsenal ate going to concede at least one goal a game at this moment in time.

Spurs put in one of the most horrific displays I think I have ever seen and they still should have walked away with at least 2 goals

Yeah you still have to go there and win but the gassing up for a game Arsenal seem to always win, when Spurs have even had a good side with no injuries! Now to this side with 13 out and at least 3/4 key players they are missing! Is well over the top, that’s Arsenal media and fans for you! It’s a pity after that wolves result they didn’t have Chelsea then spurs

fear -no

why would anyone fear a football result?

but does it affect our chances of winning?...yes like you said it statistically does...therefore it matters.
You're completely missing the spirit of what I was getting at so forget it, man. We move on to the next game with our destiny in our own hands still.

That's my only hope. Chelsea always give them a hard time even if they aren't doing well. Spurs are just a joke of a football club.

Certainly harder than what Spurs have gave us this season, but even they have only beaten us once in 14 attempts since the turn of the decade.

Still, we get the yips again, then they are much more likely to capitalise. In fact, we get a bad case of them like we got against Wolves, then anyone can.

Or in other words: „Spurs are the most shit team in the world right now.“

But fair to say, they miss Betancur, Bergvall, Porro, Danso, Davies, Kudus, Odobert, Maddison, Kulusevski, Romero, Udogie

Question for the City fans who have been to recent games at the Etihad. Do you feel a nervousness in the stadium in recent weeks?

It's hard to tell when watching on TV but I sensed in the Barcodes game the players were nervous and there was a period in the 2nd half when the crowd sensed this and started a rendition of Blue Moon. But what is the vibe like in the stadium?

Gotta give Arsenal credit for that yesterday, they’ve done exactly what we’ve taken the piss out of them for not doing over the course of the season and totally killed Spurs off.

No because we are 5 points behind and have been through more shit than any generation of gooner.

There’s always a slight nervousness in the ground but mainly if we need a goal from 70 mins onward, but the older fanbase still have that typical city feeling no matter what the score, it’s nothing new and definitely not an indication that we will bottle it. BTW I only manage about 10 games a season these days so I can’t speak for every game.

Complete bollocks. I go home and away and the vast majority of fans have seen many a title race and are totally relaxed about everything. You must have just shit your pants to ask such a question. Maybe it makes you feel better.

The only nervousness around is the players with their sub standard second half performances, which makes it with like 10 mins or so to go and only 1 goal in the lead a bit nervy, but Saturday was a prime example of running the gauntlet a few times but the steady heads getting on the ball and managing the game out well.

The sooner we start going 3 goals ahead, which we will, the game will be virtually over by HT.

Just keep getting the 3 points is all that matters, and the wankathon sky crave is well and truly on, just hope the 3-0 lead I speak of happens when we play Arsenal, and no reason why it can't.

It's the same apprehension any home fans get when they're a goal to the good but under pressure. It's certainly nothing more than that. I'd say we're probably one of the best set of fans in the country for keeping our heads when the pressure is high. Possibly because we've been through it time and time again and have seen City get results from positions of despair quite frequently. The 99 playoff final was a lesson in not writing City off! QPR another. Brighton away, although we weren't behind for long. Villa 2-0 down knowing we probably needed to win.

The fans respond to it and boost the team. I don't think there's the same nervousness you'd get at the Emirates where losing the title is most certainly weighing on every Arsenal fan's mind.

Not particularly, the crowd were great on Saturday and right behind the team pushing them on, we know that we shouldn't be in the title race in a transition season against a team that has been built over the last few years so we have nothing to loose

Frankly we are trying to save football from this Arsenal team built on fine margins, cheating and set pieces

You will notice the difference if either Arsenal are just winning or are failing to do so it will feel toxic .............Keown today aluding to City being under the same pressure .........does he not get its now or never for Arsenal ???? They fook it this time and they simply wont get a better chance ....... this is a Man City side in transistion and with that gap being so close i would deffo be worried now but also deffo be worried for the future.

Honestly look at the flip flop cunts on Youtube going over the top because they beat up on a piss poor side who wouldnt look out of place in th championship. Simply getting carried away rather than looking at the bigger picture knowing that Chelsea and Brighton will give them far tougher games

Yeah, there's a reason the Arsenal fan on here has asked about it. There's clearly a nervousness at Arsenal about it. Naturally, not winning it for so long and falling just short so often will become a mental hurdle.

This might be their best year, but last year was the one in my opinion. 84pts the dippers got, Arsenal had got 89pts the season before and 84pts the season before that but only managed 74 last campaign.
