It would be truly spectacular, no doubts..Par for the course - just hope it does them no good and of course we finish top. The look on Arteta's face will be something to behold

They're probably glad he's withdrawn due to the fuck he's shit.Damn we are so unlucky with injuries.....
When the rags were at the top and winning things.Yes, lets see. Lots of factors at play here, form, fitness, ability to handle pressure, ability to rotate etc.
I still say the next league games will be massive in terms of the title, us at home to Bournemouth, you guys at Chelsea. Whoever comes out of that weekend the happier will go a long way to deciding the title.
Looking at the schedules, having 2 midweeks off potentially from September to May is getting a bit ridiculous.
All the more reason to be 'injured' for international friendlies. ;-)
Sounds like excuses to me.
Every club gets injuries, Gvardiol and Dias missed the final through injury and Guehi wasn't eligible yet we still managed to keep a clean sheet, it's how you manage it.
Stones picked up an injury and Foden was lucky not to pick up an injury during this break but you don't see our lads pulling out en masse with fictional injuries which we all know will magically clear up before the next club fixture.
Scraping the barrel going back to last season, perhaps you should look at the injuries we picked up over the last two winters.
Over cautious and protective my arse, Arteta and his squad of mentally weak bottlers are shittiing themselves after their recent schooling.
Our lads have had a longer season due to the club world cup and are still in with a shout on two more fronts after bagging one trophy yet you don't see them crying off from internationals.
There is a long tradition of Arsenal influence in the England setup. If anything due to geography. They weren't withdrawn, they were sent back by national team medics after having already been in the squad. Unless the national team doctors are all Gooners I suspect there's nothing dodgy going on.
You followed my advice!Anyone would think the media don't trust Arsenal to win the league and we could win another domestic treble.
I meant to tag you in the original post. You followed my advice!
Norgaard, Norgaard, you actually mentioned NORGAARD? He actually played a match? NORGAARD played a match? He needs a match because he hasn’t played all season. Gold medal for this post.Mate, you can keep using this as something to beat us with, but you are talking to someone who thought these friendly internationals were a total waste of time so I'm not going to be upset the likes of Rice and Saka took no part in that debacle last night. Gyokeres, Calafiori and Norgaard played in the games that actually mattered, the likes of White, Martinelli, Havertz, Raya and Mosquera played in their friendlies.

Like Dowman was actually mentioned as injured in a preview by a National Newspaper but had played the night before in an U21 match. You are pathetic and know it. Pathetic, desperate club. Cheats FC.Yes, the lesser spotted Norgaard isn't actually extinct, he's still there and included in any numbers when talking about players in international duty.
Straw clutching at it's finest.
The point is if you want to compete consistently at the top table, you've got to play a lot of games and to do this you've got to have a squad of players who are good enough to play for their countries.
International weekends have been in the calendar for years and it goes with the territory.
Looks to me like Bottlers FC can't hack it and I don't think I'm alone in thinking this either.

Don't flatter yourself, you've spent a billion and won fuck all mate.Is me being here not at least a wee bit therapeutic for you to get some of that anger out?
I'd say not .Is me being here not at least a wee bit therapeutic for you to get some of that anger out?
Definitely not. I've seen my team plumb depths you'll never see. Highs you'll never reach. All whilst being there in person to witness. Were you there the night it was cold? Were you present when you hounded Wenger out? I'm guessing you weren't so don't give me any patronising are you therapeutic for me. Personally I feel sorry for you and all your Narf Landan forever desperados that you will justify any means to win anything. My God, you really have plumbed the depths. Is me being here not at least a wee bit therapeutic for you to get some of that anger out?
Good call mateOk guys, my presence on this thread obviously seems to annoy you
Think it's safer for me to stick to the occasional post in the Scottish football threads again.
