Being a bit giddy here but if Arsenal were to bottle it again and end the season trophy less, theyll have to be some serious questions asked about the futures of some players.

Will they really want to waste their careers at Arsenal largely failing in the hope of finally getting some success when they can be at a club that will give them trophies regularly?

Could see saliba wanting out if a madrid came in for him, Rice will only have 2 years left on his contract this summer, the ultimate salt into the wounds would be if we had a little word in his ear, let him know we would be interested in him, let him run down his contract and come to arsenal with an offer next season of accept or lose him for free.

Every game is important, but this one felt very crucial as a potential 12 point gap would have felt insurmountable. The door is open again to make it 9 -> 6 -> 3 by the next two games.

Yeah I said the other day that I think this weekend is massive and we needed a city win and arsenal loss to really get things moving on turning the tide. Not that it couldn't be won if that wasn't what happened but momentum is everything at this stage.

If we ended up cutting it too fine with less games to go, Arsenal may probably scrape over the line. The wobble happening around this point is much better because they're going to be stuck in the whirlwind for longer, which they don't deal with well.
